Florida Educators
What's it like teaching in Florida? I'm guessing it's like most places-

My wife teaches the blind and visually impaired. She was offered a job in Florida but the pay, benefits and retirement in NYS are better.

We'll I got a job offer. Now to see if we can time it to make it work. I'm not too optimistic.

Re: Florida Educators
A teacher I know was offered in essence a 50% pay cut moving from the North East and they tried to get them as step 1 with over 15 years of experience.
The grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles. With the circuits like freeways. I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see.

Re: Florida Educators
That's my concern. I have 20+ year, plus military service, plus advanced degrees.
