What is your favorite old WDW Show that most people don't remember?

Postby ResortTV1 » Tue Feb 16, 2021 5:24 pm

Hey everyone!

Like the title says, what is your favorite old WDW Show that most people don't remember?

One of mine is the little show in the Sounds Dangerous Lobby with RJ McBean and Mickey Mouse. I can't even remember the name of the show, but it was really cool and used 3D Audio Technology.

Legend of the Lion King at Magic Kingdom. Best sound system at any Disney show I've ever been to. For anyone who doesn't remember the show used to be where Mickey's PhilharMagic is now.

I remember this one too. I think it helped me like computers from a young age.

The one I remember a lot is the one that was in Mickey’s Birthdayland before it became Mickey’s Starland and then later toontown fair.

Tarzan Rocks at Animal Kingdom was a great show with incredible stunts set to the Phil Collins soundtrack of the movie. Was replaced by the Finding Nemo show.

Kitchen Kabaret, the original one. Although it might be more well known now with Disney releasing a commemorative matted print for it...which I need by the way. I still get “Veggie veggie, fruit fruit” stuck in my head all the time.

We loved Lights, Motors, Action stunt show at MGM! We're a bunch of gear heads so fast cars and stunts was right up our alley!

The Adventures Club, more a club than a show, but wife and I loved to go there and enjoy the cast members and Adventures.

Does Captain Eo count? Not really a show but I loved that one as a kid.

The one thing I wish they would bring back is the Electrical Parade, that was a highlight for me as a kid, I remember being wowed by the glowing parade floats, although I also remember people getting into fist fights during the parade - I guess because people were pushing / bumping into each other because it was so crowded on Main Street trying to watch the parade.

The Timekeeper was pretty cool. It was fun seeing the animatronics during the show, and Robin Williams' and Rhea Perlman's voices were so perfect for those robot characters.
