People Mover and Splash Mountain

Hi Everyone! Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere and I missed it! We plan to go to WDW in early May and I was wondering if anyone has any information about the People Mover reopening date or the Splash Mountain closure date. I thought I read somewhere that the People Mover would reopen in late January but I see on the Disney website that it is still closed. Thank you!

They pushed it back to sometime in Feb ...but who knows

I asked planDisney last week. They are estimating that the PeopleMover will reopen in early March. However, Disney keeps pushing back the date.

The People Mover opening date has been pushed back virtually every month since last October. As far as Splash Mountain goes Disney has given no timeline for when the attraction will close for the renovation. Hopefully Disney will give a closing date a couple of months ahead of the renovation as a courtesy to its arriving guests. They did this for the planned Space Ship Earth overhaul last year before it was ultimately cancelled/postponed. If they remain consistent then you should know well ahead time.
