First Disneyland Trip EVER
On MLK weekend in January, myself (and two friends) are going to be going to Disneyland for the first time! I'm definitely a Disney nerd and have been to World countless times but have never made it out west before. We are staying at the Hilton Anaheim and already have our tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Going to Walt's park first and then DCA the next day. As a first timer I need to know what to do?!?! We can start getting ADR's this weekend and have Oga's and Blue Bayou on our list (Big Star Wars and Pirates fans). Basically I need a crash course on all things Disneyland!! All help is appreciated!

Re: First Disneyland Trip EVER
Definitely see if you can get blue bayou reservations. If not, I’ve heard if you are there a little before it opens, like 10:30 am, you can get on the standby list. A good alternative is Carnation Cafe if you want some nostalgia. Cafe Orleans is an alternative for the Monte Cristo.
Other than that, it’s hard to say what to do as it depends on if you go to WDW a lot.
The unique things are Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Finding Nemo subs, Roger Rabbit and Fantasyland rides at Disneyland. At DCA as far as unique it’s like everything except Soarin, Mermaid and Toy Story Mania.
