Buses from Pop
Buses from Pop
Just wanted to see what the wait times have been for the buses from POP to MK fist thing in the morning. Any word on increasing capacity on transportation? I was wondering if I should drive to MK or ride the bus

Re: Buses from Pop
I didn’t have the greatest experience back in September with it. Line was long but they kept bringing more double buses. I’d anticipate like 30 minutes if the hotel is full

Re: Buses from Pop
First thing in the morning and at park closing is always going to be bad. Nothing they can do about that really. I don't believe adding more buses is the answer because they can't park enough of them in the stalls at once.
Disney has increased bus numbers. There is an outside company that has started bringing in additional buses and drivers. Clearly a contracted company. These buses don't have the Disney theming on them. It's making things a little faster but not that much faster because when we arrived at Magic Kingdom our bus had to wait for the previous bus to empty and board before we could get off.
I don't believe this is a problem of Disney being cheap. The volume of guests using the transportation is very high. This wasn't a huge problem before the start of the year because most of the park guests were locals. The Disney resorts were probably only half full at best. Now the resorts are totally full. I believe Pop is at 100% occupancy this week. So the buses at rope drop are going to take a while.

Re: Buses from Pop
Last Tuesday morning I got in line at around 6:45. I'm horrible at estimating but there were easily 100 people in front of me. They were already starting to load. I got on the 6th bus that arrived and I only waited 17 minutes. Don't let the LONG lines scare you. The buses keep coming and coming.

Re: Buses from Pop
If there is Skyliner service, then there are no buses to those parks. If the line is down for any reason, weather or mechanical, then they will run buses.nittanylions wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 3:06 am Is there bus service to parks served by Skyliner? If so, what is it like?
