What’s the deal with annual passes? Josh and Jenna get them…is it because they already had them? Are they for sale to the general public yet?

Re: My trip 2-26/3-5 some thoughts
Sounds like an overall great trip. I do miss the daily housekeeping-coming back from a day in the parks, the bed made up with towels folded in the shape of a Mickey....And I really really miss the individual soaps, shampoos, ect. I don't like the dispensers in the showers (that was a precovid chang...

Re: Where are all the WDW Coffee Cups?
I bought a really nice large Epcot anniversary Starbucks mug at the Character Warehouse. I was cleaning it at work and dropped it to the floor, smashing it into pieces. Someone saw it happen and commented that they felt bad I broke my nice Disney mug. I felt terrible. I saw the mug during a trip but...

This system is going to require me to change my strategy. Seems like less advance planning and more spur of the moment.

Re: Genie and Lightning Lane
Genie is their planning/wait times app. Genie+, cost $15/day/person. You get to reserve one Lightning Lane access, some time before your day(I’m not sure when), then additional Lightning Lane usage throughout the day, much like the old 4th, 5th, 6th…etc, of the old system. 2 or 3, top attractions i...

Genie and Lightning Lane
Due to Covid, I haven’t been to WDW since summer of 2019. As a result, I haven’t kept up on details like Fastpass+. I was looking on the internet and saw that Fastpass+ is gone and will be replaced by Disney Genie and Lightning Lane. Does anyone know when they will start and how they will work?

Re: Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios ends Virtual Queue 9/23/21
So what are the options for getting on the ride now? Standby only, but the wait times haven't been horrible. They were worst the first day, now many times when I look throughout the day, it is 65-75 minutes. That's not bad at all for a marquee ride. When I was at WDW last week, too, every real wait...

Re: People I miss from chat.
I tend to watch more in the winter when the weather is bad up here, but I try to catch every Friday night live all year. Sometimes I ninja watch if I tune in late. Otherwise I chime in at times during the chat.

Re: Would you pay for a fast pass?
Pay per ride makes me think of going to the fair and buying tickets for each ride. I don’t view Disney World like I view the fair. It seems beneath Disney to do something like that.

Re: Fast Pass, Fireworks and Parking Trams
I wouldn’t mind paying more as long as i can basically walk on rides. My experience has been that WDW can move people onto rides very quickly when they want to, but they can also load people onto rides slowly. If I’m paying more money, I want fast loading, not slow loading. The more I spend, the mor...

Re: Some interesting tid bits from disney CEO today about “normalizing” Disney World
Okay just a few thoughts on park passes. 1. It limits your ability to be spontaneous, a complaint I keep hearing about fast pass. 2. This keeps you locked into a park until 2pm. (Is the park Hopper pass worth it?) 3. Yes if you are going for a vacation you can book them well in advance but again ho...

Re: Some interesting tid bits from disney CEO today about “normalizing” Disney World
I don't know how I feel about keeping the park reservation system in place beyond the pandemic. I haven't visited Disney World since the summer of 2019. I haven't used the park reservation system. I have seen that Josh and Jenna are not always able to get a reservation for a particular park. It woul...

I wonder if more guests will rent cars to get from the airport to WDW.
