When do you think Disneyland will reopen?

I’m guessing August. I have a hotel reservation for September since there’s some good deals right now at nearby hotels. I’ve been making advance reservations since last year hoping for things to reopen and then I just keep canceling and moving back my dates.

I fear it's going to be a long time. California is being really cautious. Really cautious...

I think around Labor Day

I think we will see them open later this year, late summer or early Fall.

I think it will open after July 4 and before the birthday on the 17th.

Cali just lifted their stay at home order... I’m thinking before summer. Fingers crossed!! I miss my man Mickey!

I’d say July 1st. It’s a Thursday and right before the holiday. Orange County said they feel they will have every in the county vaccinated by July. If that’s the case, we should see a pretty steady decline in cases around June 1st. That would give Disney a month to get things ready to open.

I think it will be in mid Spring. The governor opened up most of the state to his purple tier in his announcement yesterday. But he hinted that he expected big improvements in 4 weeks. Double that and add few more weeks brings us to Mid April. April 15th will be the opening day!

I'm hoping before summer....

I wish they would open mainstreet.. just to get food and walk around and see the castle in the distance.

I'd be shocked if it was before September.

I'd guess late summer or early fall based on the expected vaccine distribution timeline.

Pretty soon.
Governor is feeling the heat from the recall movement and is opening the state back up.

Fall 2021 would be my guess.

The Governor rescinded the Stay at Home order, but the color tier system is still in effect, and Orange County is in the Purple Tier. We would need to be in the Yellow tier in order for Disney to open..that's having a very low positivity rate.

There's a current push to allow theme parks to open in the Orange level - if that would happen, we might see a summer opening.

I'm hoping that there will be some adjustments with what can happen in each tier also. I would guess summer if that happens. I think some of it will depend on availability with the vaccine, which I was just reading that the federal government is trying to get more vaccines total, but that doesn't necessarily mean more will come to California in the near future. But, I'm hopeful that Disneyland will open sooner than later in the year because of it all.

I’ve booked a 2 Br at Grand Californian for September (cancelled May ‘21)
Hoping to take the grandkids for their first trip to Disneyland.
I was last there in September 2019 and it was a fabulous trip.

I forgot to post my guess on opening. I believe it will be May following similar manner that WDW did. Hoping by Fall it will be in full swing.

Well, news just came out that Disneyland COULD open April 1 as long as the county is in the red tier (which is most likely by then). Whether or not Disneyland actually opens by that date is up to them. My guess is the end of April/beginning May now.
