When are the Animals on the Safari most active? Morning or Afternoon?

I've had the first trip, and the last trip of the day, and everything in between. It has varied every time. I feel like mid morning may have been a little more active. But it's really hit and miss.

I believe they are most active in the AM before it gets too hot and they're seeking shade. But I've also been on the safari @ various points of the day and I've still had a good experience. It also depends on how you want to see the animals, some may be up and moving around and some may be asleep but you get to see them anyhow :)

I've never had a bad ride. Even in July in the afternoon animals are out.
