Best WDW Day Ever???

Postby Wilbur Robinson » Mon Feb 08, 2021 11:57 am

What was the best day you've ever had at WDW?

My most memorable day was when it rained like crazy (I love rain, and low crowds so it's a plus!), we got breakfast at the Land, park hopped with super low ride wait times, and ended the night at Epcot with Illuminations. :) I could go more into depth but this was just a short example! :D

Thanksgiving 2019 my whole family went to Disney, we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. It was a great trip. I really hope we can all go again, :)
Have a great big beautiful tomorrow!!

Oh man - great question.

I think our most recent visit in Feb 2020. Our first night there. It was my wife and her dad and step mom. We checked into the Contemporary around 3pm. Got settled in nicely. First time at Contemporary (any MK area resort) so we took it all in. Got ready, then monorail to Poly to have drinks and small bites at Trader Sam's (we lucked out and got in within 20 minutes or so). We finished earlier than we thought, so we took the monorail back to Contemporary and had a beer and swam in the quiet pool next to the Garden Wing rooms where we were. The sunset was stunning. Then around 6 we started the walk to Magic Kingdom for a regular non-villains after hours event - our ABSOLUTE favorite way to do Magic Kingdom. We went right into the dessert party at the Tomorrowland Terrance we tickets too. That was stunning. Cheeseburger eggrolls and the special sauce all I have to say. And then of course we were escorted to the grass area for watching Happily Ever After firework show. It was the first time my wife's dad and step mom saw the show ever, so that was special. And then the park closed down to the public and from 9pm to 12am we got to ride everything we wanted to - sometimes twice. Had popcorn, soft drinks and more mickey bars than we should have. And we got to end the night with a slow walk down Main Street, and back to our room a the Contemporary. What a night. Will never forget!
