Photo Memory Maker

How exactly does this work ? And is it worth it ?
We usually do the Memory Maker package. They take pictures with the whole group, they have cool special effects, they give you the ride photos and the restaurant photos are included. It’s expensive but what in Disney isn’t?
Are there signs telling you where the photos ops are at beside the rides ? Does it include character pics ?Beaker & Honeydew wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:19 pm For as many days you're going.... i would pay the money for it and then take advantage of it in the park. You need to go to Photo Pass in Disney Experience app or website to purchase it. Then everytime you are in the park and you get your picture taken by a cast member photographer or ride a ride, your picture will be added to your account. Very simple.
Restaurant photos would that be character meals ?The Maher Family wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:26 pmWe usually do the Memory Maker package. Basically anywhere you see a photographer, you can get a picture. Some photographers are great and will take tons at once, too. We basically got an entire family photo shoot in Pandora last time we went. Easily 30+ pics from that one guy. The effects are fun, and since photographers can't handle your phone now, it's a great way to lock down pics all over.T music wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 5:26 pmAre there signs telling you where the photos ops are at beside the rides ? With that said - you will guarantee your ride photo ends up in your account if you scan your magic band when you see your photo after the ride. I've had the most problems on Splash Mountain with it not reading or giving me someone else's picture (has happened twice to me). But I've also had the problem on other rides and this is with a Magic Band that was purchased recently (Summer 2020).Splashtest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 7:44 am No scan needed after the ride. As long as the battery in your band is good and you are properly wearing your mask on the ride the photo will be automatically sent to your account.
Many times you won't see ride pics right away. Give it a day or 2, and they will all show upLiquid Ice wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:06 amWith that said - you will guarantee your ride photo ends up in your account if you scan your magic band when you see your photo after the ride. I always scan on Splash Mountain just because I've had the problem a few times with different Magic Bands.
Definitely scan if you see your picture we were not always able to get to the photo area due to transfer time and we got someone else's picture at least twice, BUT if that happens the wonderful cast members at guest relations are very helpful and will assist you in fixing the issue!Liquid Ice wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:06 amWith that said - you will guarantee your ride photo ends up in your account if you scan your magic band when you see your photo after the ride. The first time I missed my Splash Mountain photo, I emailed them and asked them for help finding my photo, gave them the time, what I was wearing and everything and they responded saying they couldn't find it. maybe it works better if you do it in person the day of?Happy2012 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 11:44 amDefinitely scan if you see your picture we were not always able to get to the photo area due to transfer time and we got someone else's picture at least twice, BUT if that happens the wonderful cast members at guest relations are very helpful and will assist you in fixing the issue!Liquid Ice wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:06 amWith that said - you will guarantee your ride photo ends up in your account if you scan your magic band when you see your photo after the ride.
