I have looked several places and can't find a definitive answer. What are the daily hours right now for the Skyliner?
here's my question - If I park at DHS and park-hop to Epcot - will I be able to get back to DHS after Epcot closes?

The Skyliner has been opening about a half hour before the parks do and runs over an hour and 30 min after the parks close. Sometime earlier and longer.
The exception is Animal Kingdom hours.
The hours may vary of course and they’ll usually be a sign directing you to alternate transportation if it is closed.
Rule of thumb at WDW is "Yes, you can get there from here."
