Best Fireworks Views Outside the Parks?

Hello All!

Our next Disney trip will be from Sept. 28 - Oct. 1 (followed by Universal). On Oct. 1 we're scheduled to be at Animal Kingdom, and I'm guessing that even though we have park hopper passes, we won't be able to get in anywhere else in the afternoon. However, we were thinking we might want to catch the new fireworks from MK that evening. Josh and Jenna's recent video where they caught the fireworks from the Contemporary Resort inspired me to ask how one might go about finding/reserving a view such as that one. Any tips/advice are welcome!

Also, just throwing this question out here: We're scheduled for AK on Sept. 29 and HS on the 30th but are hoping to hop over to EPCOT one of those afternoons. With the way things are looking, does it seem like it would be possible to (for example) go to EPCOT for the afternoon on the 29th and return to MK later in the evening for fireworks? I'm starting to wonder if having hopper passes will be worth it, but I'm hoping so (since we really want to be at all four parks. Just trying to strategize the best way to make that happen and get to see nighttime shows, etc.

Thanks everyone! Love this forum and this community. :D

Any spot along the water at Poly is great to watch the fireworks, they also pipe in the music so you aren't missing the audio portion. Only downside to views outside of the park is that you won't be able to see any castle projections.

actually while you dont see everything, i found it quite fun to sit at the dockside bar at night cause you got to see fireworks of all shows
