Is anyone else planning on being at MK for the 50th anniversary?

I will be planning this shortly! Looking to stay at Corondao Springs for a few days. I was hoping Port Orleans Riverside would be open, but no word on that yet.

We plan to be there for spring break and in the fall. Hopefully we will Not So Scary Party this year.

I was there for the 25th, and I'd really love to make it for the 50th! Has there been any word about how long the celebration will go for?

Hoping to be there for the 50th. Just have to get AP renewed and get park reservations for MK.

I really want to go for the 50th but I wonder if it will be crazy busy this fall as everyone rushes back.

Yes, I’m hoping for fireworks, too!

Hopefully will be going in early November, third reschedule.

I am hoping to be there with my daughter. Our trip last year was postponed. We are hoping to stay at Contemporary, but there haven’t been any rooms available yet. We will keep checking.
We are a little nervous about how things will be. We are hoping for it to be safe with a little more shows and restaurants.

Yes!! I am so excited for the 50th Anniversary!! This will last for a year. October 1, 2021 - October 1, 2022

I will definitely be there. Already have my MK park reservation. I am truly excited for what they'll have planned and of course the merch!!

YES!!! I'll be there in December and I'm staying at Coronado Springs! I can't wait!!

We're scheduled for Oct 15. I'm hoping for some more normalcy to be added... just have to wait and see.

I started with the company during the 20th anniversary, was part of the massive lay-offs, but am hopeful to return in June to get recast and work during the 50th. I'm a proud cast member at heart.

Disney announced that Festival of The Lion King will be returning soon, so I have a feeling other shows will open soon as well...especially those with seats, so the Entertainment Department can safely socially distance the guests.

Won't be there until December. Hopefully some stuff will be still going on. 50th fireworks? Parades? Hopefully more than just new paintwork on the Disney signs!

I don’t think they have released anything specific yet.

I booked a trip for December 22. So we'll be celebrating Christmas and the 50th.

We have a reservation for Oct 1st but I'm not sure if we'll make it. It is my wife's birthday on the 1st so we'd love to be there but it's so hot (we went in 2018 and nearly died). We might cancel but have it just in case.

Going to certainly come in January of 2022 for a week.

I'd like to be there in 2022 but coming from the UK and it being our first visit I don't know if it will be possible, I really want to wait and see if the face covering requirements are relaxed before booking, I really don't think I and my family could wear coverings all day in the Florida heat and humidity.
