Not sure if it's just timing but I was thinking about chats and some names I've not seen in awhile.

Has anyone seen Downscale latley in live chat?

I've been thinking the same thing lately! I'm rarely able to chat in the live chat, but I feel like I haven't heard certain names in a while. I hope folks are just busy or ninja watching like I am, as opposed to something else going on! It probably sounds silly for people I've never met, but I've definitely thought "oh I hope so and so is okay, I haven't seen them in the chat lately."

With the past year I just was hopeful that everyone is ok. In our little Disney community-you get to know folks and look forward to talking with them and just miss them. Ya'll are some funny people and it's a place where you know the junk of the world just doesn't invade.

I've been MIA quite a bit, but not from a lack of wanting to be in chat. My daughter is recently back from overseas duty and it's just been really hectic around my house. Summer really ramps up here at the beach so I'm spending much more time outside and just exhausted when I get back in, plus I'm having to work my job from 2 laptops now and I've just needed to step back from the screens a bit more.

There are definitely people who ninja watch now because they don't always have time to chat and feel bad if they can't say hi to everyone who says hi to them. I keep telling people that they shouldn't feel bad if they can't say hi to everyone, but I think people still feel bad. Either way, I definitely miss some of those people too.

I have been off work(injury) for the last few months, so I had plenty of time to catch up and tune into as many streams and re-watches as I could fit in.

I used to work every Friday night, which was a bummer, lol, since I missed the live' broadcast all the time.

Am going back to work soon, I will miss not getting to watch so much, and saying hi to people from time to time.

Streams(and anything Disney) were, and still are, a way to briefly get away from it all, and to put myself in the park until I can someday make it back. It's been 8 years now, I want to give Mickey a hug, and see everything I missed on my last visit.

With our Canadian dollar so much lower, it might be awhile longer.

But hey, if you cannot have hopes and dreams, when trying to get to Disney, where can you have them?

Isn't that what Disney is all about?

I find myself in this category more and more often-just like this morning I opened up the chat participants looking for some old timers and didn't see any. So I just mostly say hi at the beginning and just let the stream roll.

I tend to watch more in the winter when the weather is bad up here, but I try to catch every Friday night live all year. Sometimes I ninja watch if I tune in late. Otherwise I chime in at times during the chat.

I miss the old timers for sure. I hope some of them come back and visit us. Every once in a while I'll see one!

I know I said it before but any news on doswnscale-I just hope he is ok.

I found Downscale over in RobFuz's live stream tonight! He's been working on a jrpg! I'm happy to know he is safe!
