It seemed like there were a lot more people than 35% when we were in Magic Kingdom last week!

WALT DISNEY WORLD CAPACITY IS UP. It appears between 45-50% in Orlando, FL. It allows now out of state and international travelers.
DISNEYLAND in CA: Increased capacity 30-35% in that range and it's going up.
DISNEY WORLD: Now allowing outdoor common areas to be mask free. You still need a mask to get into the park. All rides require masks.
PARK HOPPING: Now allowed a both Disney World and Disneyland.
June 15, 2021 there is a press announcement for all parks.
Some early predictions
DISNEYLAND: Will reopen to out of state and international travelers.
WALT DISNEY WORLD
The Parking Trams: Those are in refurbishment now.
The Fast Pass: DIsney app has added that but not available yet for all of us to enjoy. Fast Pass has been down due to social distancing lines.

Capacity has gone up. Quite a bit as a matter of fact. They are at the point now that fast passes are absolutely needed now. Almost every ride is now more than an hour wait. They also need to extend the hours a little more in hope of spreading it out more through the day. Right now the crowd levels feel like they did before the closures.
A few trends that I'm seeing that are different than the other trips I've taken in the past year:
* Previously almost all the park guests were Disney regulars or annual pass holders. This trip it feels like 80% of the guests have never been to Disney before. Most have no idea what is going on.
* The announced wait times have shifted in the other direction. Previously they were much shorter than listed. Now they all seem to be much longer than listed. Today I was on Soarin. The listed wait time was 35 minutes. Actual wait time was over 70.
* The best time to be in the park also seems to have shifted. Before you wanted to get there early and avoid the middle of the day. Now that doesn't work as well. The lines seemed to be shortest in the middle of the day. I guess that's because it's too hot for everyone to stand in line. It might also be because an increasing percent are now first timers.
