Adding an extra night
Adding an extra night
I called my TA today to see if I could add an extra night to my upcoming stay in June. She told me that it could not be done and still keep all of my reservations. However, she did suggest to I could do a separate reservation for one night. She also told me that she could note it to my current reservation so that the resort would know. My question is do you think they will let me keep the same room or will I have to move after the first night? I am wanting to add the extra day to the front of my trip. Has anyone else done this before?

Re: Adding an extra night
I’ve had it happen before where I was prepared to move rooms and found out that they were letting me keep the same room. It can depend on if you are getting the same level (standard or preferred) but if your TA put a note there there’s a good chance it’ll happen. That’s what happened to me.

Re: Adding an extra night
I did this my last trip, added a day on the start, and we never had to change rooms. After we settled in our room, I went and asked the front desk if we need to plan to move, and they said not to worry

Have you called WDW and/or the resort and explained the situation? I think they would be as accommodating as possible.

Re: Adding an extra night
If you can't add it online, it will be the same. So you need to add 1 day on the start or end. The killer is if there is a deal going on, you won't get it because single days don't count.nittanylions wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 9:11 pm Have you called WDW and/or the resort and explained the situation? This happened to me in March, had 30% off my stay, but my added day had to be full price. They couldn't book a continuous stay for the entire duration, that's the issue at hand, and why you have to add an individual day.
So I had a standard room, but only could book a standard 5th sleeper for my extra day.
