That's a great question. I'm actually surprised that they were filling the rides & transportation more by using the partitions (I thought that would have come after this mask rule)

My next hope is trying to figure out crowd control so they can do nightly shows or some sort of modified fireworks. I feel they may just hold out until the 50th, but it would be great to get some of that experience by the Summer. I also assume they're probably working on whether or not there will be a modified MNSSHP or not.

My guess would be that they're working hard for an Independence Day return for the fireworks. That would give them enough time now to get everything working right, and do some real-life testing beforehand, and make a big splash (no pun intended) on the 4th. It also would allow almost 3 months for "tweaking" the shows for best performance, before the big day on Oct. 1st. It's been the perfect opportunity for the pyro crew & Imagineers to freshen/revamp/modify/etc. all the nighttime shows. My only concern is crowd control. I'd bet a week's pay that, once the show starts in any of the parks, social distancing will be nonexistant & unenforceable by CM's. Big conundrum for Disney. Hope they find a solution.

I think things will be changing quickly as vaccinations continue to roll out. In November, there were sooooo many masks to pick from at WDW. In March, there were hardly any. I wear the XL, and it was near impossible for me to find my size. I also saw on a different thread that masks are $1.75 at the Factory Stores. All these signs, coupled with the maskless photos, point me to Disney moving away from the requirement by year end. I hope I'm right, and I'm far from an anti-masker, but as someone fully vaccinated, it's something I feel safe with.

I wouldn't doubt that, but I honestly feel that they won't be ready by then. The crowds the week of the 4th are bad enough, I can't imagine they'll want social distancing concerns for fireworks -which would be virtually impossible. I think they realistically are thinking for the 50th ...October 1.

I agree and hope you are correct! Also far from an anti-masker as well and also fully vaccinated really can't wait for things to return to 'normal'.
