Having had a conversation with my family and living in the UK, unable to revisit any time soon, we were sharing our favourite queues and the hidden bits of Disney magic within them. Flight of Passage featured highly , as did Rock 'n'Roller, just for guitars and the Springsteen tour tee shirt!
What queue line should we put on the list to must do for our next trip, just to experience some great imaginearing?

I like the queue for Pirates of the Caribbean. It seems like it hasn’t really changed since I was a kid in the 1970s. Makes me feel young again to walk through it. Plus it feels like you’re in a Spanish fort in the Caribbean. For its time, it was pretty detailed.

Re: Unmissable Queue Line Magic?
Two come to mind...Peter Pan's Flight...the last upgrade put some really nice effects in (though when we were there in January they were turned off to discourage people from gathering/stopping in the queue!)
Second is the super detailed one at Everest in Animal Kingdom. Incredible depth of information, photos, and stories.
Hope you enjoy your next visit!

Re: Unmissable Queue Line Magic?
Space Mountain's queue's not quite as cool as it used to be (there used to be no roof over the loading area; you could see the ride projections and the glow-in-the-dark cars from the queue switchbacks there), but it's still one of my favorites for all the spacey ambience and music.
Flight of Passage has the best queue in all four parks; IMO it's worth riding standby just to see the queue if the line's under about 90 minutes or so. When/if Fastpass returns, be aware that you don't get to see any of the queue theming from the Fastpass line except a glimpse into the lab section through a window.
Both Galaxy's Edge rides have great queues as well. If we don't count what happens after the first "preshow" in Rise as part of the queue, I actually prefer Smuggler's Run's queue (once you get inside)-- it snakes you up and around an area that's themed as an engine mechanic's shop, then to some great views of the Falcon from above, and into a preshow featuring the best animatronic Disney's built (Hondo's even more elaborate than the Na'vi shaman in Na'vi River Journey). The single rider line skips all this; not sure what gets skipped by DAS/Rider Swap returns (Smuggler's Run has never had Fastpass, but does have a bypass line for those).

Re: Unmissable Queue Line Magic?
seven dwarfs mine train! It has an amazing queue with those interactive games (are not available right now because of Covid) throughout the line. They are so much fun to do when they reopen again. The queue is also themed like you are in the mine and is amazing because you feel like you are in the mine with the seven dwarfs. I have only been in the queue a couple of times and there are some hidden details throughout the queue. I cannot think of anything off the top of my head right now but yeah I hope this was helpful.

Re: Unmissable Queue Line Magic?
Have to admit Flight of Passage is one standby queue line I would gladly just stand back and take loads of photos - the fastpass line is so much more industrial in comparison.AlexisW wrote: ↑Mon Apr 05, 2021 7:42 pm Space Mountain's queue's not quite as cool as it used to be (there used to be no roof over the loading area; you could see the ride projections and the glow-in-the-dark cars from the queue switchbacks there), but it's still one of my favorites for all the spacey ambience and music.
