5 favorites, NOT a ride!

I saw this post on Facebook this morning and decided to put a little twist on it here: What are your top five Disney World favorites -- NOT a ride? Anything else; shops, food, experience, etc. Here are mine:

1. Running path between Poly and Grand Floridian. 2. Running path between Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness (we once saw 4 deer at once running across the path!) 3. Strolling at any park 4. Three-way tie between chilling at either Poly, Wilderness Lodge, or Animal Kingdom Lodge lobbies 5. The thrill that goes through me when we walk into a resort lobby on our first day there.

1. I love shopping, sitting, and eating at the Japan pavilion. The quick service and hibachi restaurants are great, and the garden area is a nice quiet place to relax.
2. Taking the monorail or walking to the Poly to get some Dole Whip!
3. Pool time at whichever resort we're staying at. My favorite pools are at the Beach Club, Polynesian, and Port Orleans.
4. Walking down Sunset Blvd and seeing the Tower of Terror.
5. Yak and Yeti! The food there is so good...

1. That feeling you get when you drive through the Disney World entrance sign
2. Trying the different foods at Epcot festivals
3. The excitement you get when you open the door to your resort room for the first time, especially if it is at a resort you've never stayed before!
4. The smells of the different resorts
5. Walking around and seeing all the details of the parks, for me - especially in Galaxy's Edge

2. Going on the Skyliner from Epcot to Hollywood studios!

3. Sitting down at Pandora world and taking everything in -- Maybe with a Pongu Lumpia?

4. Enjoying a Sour Sarlacc on Batuu.

5. Taking shelter from the Florida rain! whether it be inside a little out cove, or at a restaurant somewhere. or This one is oddly specific, but it's attached to a lot of memories!

When we go to Disney World, we do less rides and more relaxing inside the parks, so this post was definitely fun to answer.

ohh such a great topic! Ok, my 5 favorites in no particular order are:
1. Chilling at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto
2. Driving under the Walt Disney World sign when arriving
3. NIght time fireworks at the castle
4. MNSSHP and all things halloween at MK (decor, music, villians)
5. visiting the hat shop and main street confectionary

Honorary mention (because my kids are now grown and this no longer applies) is watching my kids have a grand time and not fight or fuss for a single week! LOL. Disney was the only vacation that we would take when they were little and not have a single cross word said. Magical.
