Seen all the tweets after, it looks amazing! Secretly hoping my trip gets rearranged for next year now so I me and my cousin can experience it! 😁

More official details here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/50th-anniversary/ and https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/ ... ld-resort/

I was 6 months off my prediction, but I'm so pumped they are doing a full 18 month celebration! That will give so many guests around the world plenty of time to make their way "home" to see the celebration festivities at all four parks. For a quick look, here are the night time "Beacons of Magic" that each parks icon will look like starting Oct 1st, 2020:

I haven't seen any official details of specifics on new firework shows at MK, parades, entertainment, etc. I'm sure that information will come out soon.

Yeah. They were a little stingy on all that WDW is going to do, but I think it mainly has to do with caution due to COVID-19. If COVID gets controlled in the next few months I think Disney will begin revealing a lot more of the celebrations. I am thinking a new parade is definitely in the works. What else do people think?

I think the park icons are going to look really cool at night! I'm looking forward to the new lights on Spaceship Earth. Mickey & Minnie's new outfits look great. Can't wait to see them in the parks. I hope we'll continue to get more exciting announcements about the 50th as it gets closer.
