Title seems generic to the subject so decided to add my opinion on the project.

This was never going to be highly budgeted due to likely not being in place by the end of the decade. Disney was obligated to add the tiles back contractually.

All that said, they did a good job for what it is though I look forward to the eventual replacement.

I think that this project was such a great idea but seems like there is a love it or hate it attitude towards them. I'm in the love category-

It was announced at the beginning that the original display will be there for 20 years.
We have taken our picture end of 1999, therefore it was 20 years on display.
I see it as a bonus that they still display it, even in another format.

If I recall correctly they stopped the program around 2007 so likely they will be there at least 6 More years.

I love how they've updated these. So colorful and we have a great way to find where pictures are located!

Exceeded my modest expectations. Kudos to the design team for making it work with what were likely limited funds.

I was skeptical at first, but I like them! I think they look better as more panels get installed. And I love that there's now a database searchable by name and city/state, so you can find your tile easily. Super helpful considering that over the years we'd kinda forgotten exactly where ours was even in the old location....

I really love the new panels! i love how colorful they are and how they look like a border of sorts around the area outside the park. I just think they're pretty and that they unveiled them at a great time since the colors work so well with the festival of the arts.
