Flower and Garden Festival

Postby TheMagicKingdomMom » Tue Jan 26, 2021 5:20 pm

My family and I will be at WDW in April and are definitely going to the Flower and Garden Festival. It's our first time to go to this festival....what should we put on our list of things to do? I heard the butterfly garden is beautiful but not sure they'll have it this year? :(

The topiary displays and gardens are wonderful. They are pretty much all over. The "Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival" is super cool. Disney has a list of the booths on the site but I haven't seen any menus yet. We will be there in early March. Excited. In the past they have had some well known musical artists play small sets at the Garden Rocks area (American Garden Theater). I don't think they will be doing it this year though.

And of course: Orange Bird merch

I'll definitely check out the list of food booths online! Thank you! We love Food and Wine festival so I'm hoping the food here is as good!

Has anyone heard if the Flower and Garden Fest will be limited due to COVID restrictions? I've see past years on streams and whatnot and it looked amazing. My daughter and I would like to come this year, but I'm wondering if it will be worth the trip. We went Halloween and Christmas 2020, and it was so limited. I was disappointed by the lack of decorations. I was happy to be there, it's just so different. :(

Our family enjoys the Flower and Garden Festival. It is a beautiful reminder that Spring is coming and Winter is almost over!

See all the topiaries. Try the violet lemonade and the frushi. They are both delicious!

I could spend hours in the Butterfly house!

The scavenger hunts are fun for the kids too. Looks like they will have 2 this year. One looks to be an Egg hunt for Easter and then Spikes scavenger hunt is back again too.

This is when EPCOT looks the most beautiful!

Looking forward to this as well! Have a late June-early July trip planned, so this is a nice bonus!

I believe it will be limited just like the other festivals this past year. It’s being called Taste of Flower and Garden Festival in the promos so far. I’m not sure what exactly is being limited... probably no famous bands performing like the other festivals.

Can you buy more than one scavenger hunt map? I would like to get a set of the plates if possible but will only be at EPCOT one day?

Definitely see all of the topiaries! Yes, you can purchase more than 1 scavenger hunt map. Here’s all of the prize plates. You can choose 1 set of 2 plates per map. (I had to bring home Figment and Orange Bird!)
