This past friday night in the chat, some of us were chatting about Ray Bradbury's original concept for Spaceship Earth and how it ties the entirety of the park together. If you're an Epcot fan, you owe it to yourself to read the original treatment and imagine some of the phenomenal experiences they once had in mind for us - from the cities "unbuilding themselves" to dinosaurs to walls of hieroglyphics transitioning into computer walls. It's a remarkable read, and some of the things that Bradbury writes about needing reliable information (and not misinformation) are just spookily prescient considering today's cultural challenges.
It's unfortunate that the title uses archaic language when referring to humankind - but I promise you, it's worth the 5-10 minute read. I can't attach it here directly (the PDF is a bit too big) but here's a link to Cory Doctorow's article about it:
