Some SAD NEWS
It appears that Disney’s Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster could be on it's way out at Disney's Hollywood Studios soon. Date: TBA
Universal Music Group purchased the rights to Aerosmith earlier this year including all of it's marketing.
Universal Studios Orlando and University Studios Hollywood Resorts still hasn't put out a statement on this acquisition.
The merchandise shop is still also open including all the pre-show for the ride.
The ride was rumored to parentally close in 2019

As Josh stated on stream, most of the copyright hits they get on YouTube over music are from Universal Music Group.....in regards to Disney songs. So they own other Disney music already, so that likely won't make the change. If anything, getting a more relevant band would be the reasoning to change, in my opinion.

true but this will be a great excuse to update and modernize this ride! So whether the ownership is to worry about or not. i expect this at least has fast forwarded the conversation on this rideWisconsinDisneyDad wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 4:56 amMusic Group is separate from Studios, so no need to put a statement out.reaganbetter wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 12:00 am Some SAD NEWS

I stand by my assertion that if it is to be updated, it should, without a doubt, be Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem themed. With finale by Crazy Harry.

I asked my kids for some popular artists-here are the top 5 they named-in no particular order:
1. Guns N Roses
2. Chris Cornell
3. Nirvana
4. Pearl Jam
5. Pink Floyd
My oldest son said I had to put Jim Croce and Van Halen on the list.
I googled popular music artists 2021 and got these results: https://routenote.com/blog/who-are-the- ... d-in-2021/
1. BTS
2. Justin Bieber
3. Drake
4. Ariana Grande
5. The Weeknd
6. Billie Eilish
7. Doja Cat
8. Olivia Rodrigo
9. Rihanna
10. Bruno Mars
Can you imagine the ride being changed to some of those? That would be hilarious-

they could do some zeppelin i’m not sure the beatles could fit a crazy roller coaster and licensing rights. i would say led zeppelin would be a great replacement because of their hard rock vibes
