Impossible to answer! :-)

We have Bay Lake Tower as our home resort. (Grand Californian too.)

The quality among all of them is superb. Other things to factor in are...location and proximity to your favorite park(s) or Disney Springs (Saratoga)...transportation...is it on the monorail? SkyLiner? Restaurants/cuisine? Old Key West (the original, is well...older...but very large. Downside is the location/transportation.

Ah...just figured out the answer to the orginal question...."The one you're at!" Enjoy!

I think it really depends on your needs. We love BLT because of the proximity to MK. Not having to park in the MK parking lot and having a 10 minute walk to that park is something we really enjoy. Now that our kids are teenagers, they'll have the chance to pop over to MK on their own if my husband and I decide to call it at day at the parks. We don't own OKW but love the relaxing atmosphere of that resort. During my husband's deployment, one week of his R&R was spent at Disney and we stayed at OKW. It was just what he needed - all the lush landscape and quiet time for our family to reunite. We've stayed at 6 DVC resorts and have enjoyed each one, though there are some that suit our family better than others. :D

My family really enjoys Kadani Village at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - it's also our home resort! It's a relaxing atmosphere, and we think the animals just make it so unique compared to any other Disney resort. Plus, it's easy to hop between Kadani Village and the main Lodge, and there are great dining options at both! The one bedrooms at Kadani village also have two full bathrooms :!: (same as Bay Lake Towers), which is really a game changer for my family! I think the one downside to AKL would the the transportation. Unless you decide to drive to the parks yourself, you need to rely on buses to get everywhere as there are no - what I like to call - "special" transportation options like boats, monorail, skyliner, plain old walking. And because of where it is on property, it can take a a little to get anywhere besides Animal Kingdom compared to the other resorts. That said, it really doesn't take TOO long, and sometimes we do really like being able to retreat to that corner of property away from the hustle and bustle of other things.

That said, we've stayed at a lot of DVC resorts and have never really been disappointed. It depends on what you're in the mood for! Also hard to go wrong with anything near the Magic Kingdom or something walking distance to EPCOT (especially during the food and wine festival). :D

Depends on the person and honestly it’s so hard to choose just one! Let me give my top 3 for resorts:
1. Copper Creek
2. Animal Kingdom
3. Beach Club

The others are all great and I hope to try them all one day!

I don’t know that I could begin to pick the top 3. They all have their own unique feel and pros and cons. We have 3 home resorts ( And yes I drank the Disney cool aid!) Saratoga Springs, Old Key West and Wilderness Lodge. I have an upcoming trip in September and it will be our Grandaughters first visit. Booked 11 months out and was able to secure WL for half and OKW to second. Would love to convert the OKW to AKL so she can experience the Animals as everyone has said is the best experience. Going to try to convert at the 7 month window. If we are able does anyone have a suggestion for rooms or floors with the best view of the savanna. Thanks in advance. Happy to be a Resort Hopper!!!!!!!

I haven't stayed at all of the resorts yet, so don't know if I could say which was the best.

However, we own at BLT and BCV and I can share with you why we own at both - and its location, location, location!

BLT is a short walk to Magic Kingdom and BCV is a short walk to Epcot and a 15-20 minute walk to Hollywood Studios.

We have done split stays a few times now where we stay at BLT for our MK Days and BCV for our Epcot/Hollywood Studios days.

With that said, Boardwalk is equally good location wise for Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We picked Beach Club primarily because of Storm Along Bay.

So far we have stayed at BLT, BCV, and BWV.

So for us, right now - I'd say Top 2 are BCV and BLT. Maybe we'll have a 3rd once we've stayed at more resorts!

For me if depends on the room type. For a studio I would go with the Poly. It is one of the larger studios and has a second shower. Plus it’s at the Poly.

For a 1 or 2 Br villa: I would go BLT. The proximity to the MK is so nice. The rooms are spacious and have an additional full bathroom. That extra bathroom can speed things up in the morning.
