Hey! So we are considering going back to WDW next year for the first time since 2015. Needless to say our 3 children have grown A LOT since then so the hotels we have stayed in before would be too small now. Staying in a 1 or 2 bedroom suite would be ideal but is likely out of our budget. We are looking at DVC rentals through DVCrequest.com so that might be an option for us. Does anyone have some good advice of which hotel would fit our family without it costing $500-$600 a night? We still need to add park tickets and food cost on top of whatever we pay for the hotel. Thanks in advance!

Brittany-recommend the moderate Disney resorts on property or Bonnet Creek resorts off property. Also renting a house/condo would be a good option if you have a car with you. Can't help with DVC options. We have a family of 4 and have done many trips - those are the options that work for us. Adventures by D

Look at Fort Wilderness Cabins. When the kids were smaller, we would cook breakfast in, to save money, making the overall rate doable.

When they got to big for the cabin bunk beds, we switched to two connecting rooms at Pop.

How old are your children now? There are DVC studios that have a pull down bed and can sleep 5. So you get 1 Queen size bed, 1 full size pull out sofa and 1 pulldown twin sized bed.

If you think your kids would be comfortable on the full size sofa and one could be comfortable on the pull down bed then one of these could be a good fit.

Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club Villas, Boulder Ridge, Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Riviera all offer the pull down bed. If you want to stay on site and you want to stay in a studio - Poly might be your best bet as they have the largest studios of all DVC studios and they offer 2 full bathrooms.

Most of the studios (Poly might be the exception here) are going to be a tight fit for 4 or 5 people though - it will essentially be a place to sleep.

Another option as others have stated would be the Family Suites at Art of Animation or All Star Music.

Depending on when you want to go that makes a difference too-especially when renting someone's dvc points. If you are a little flexible on dates-pay attention to the dedicated dvc reservations as they sometimes get down to $17 or $18 a point: https://dvcrequest.com/dvc-guests/dedic ... s-for-rent

Also check out the touringplans.com forums-it's updated monthly on how to find the best disney hotel deals on hotwire & priceline. If might be able to snag two of those deals at a value resort. I won't try to explain it here but you can get yourself some great deals. Here is the link:

I would suggest checking disneyspringshotels.com for some of those hotels. They are right along the road past Disney Springs and actually on Disney property. They have some of the same benefits as Disney hotels with the exception of Disney transportation. It might be possible to get a couple of rooms for the cost of one Disney room, or some of the hotels have suites that are reasonably priced like the B Resort. I've stayed at the Wyndham that is right across the street from Disney Springs and like it quite a bit. It's a really great alternative to Disney hotels because it's still on property and you can make Park Pass Reservations (which hopefully are gone the next year) and FastPass+ reservations as a Disney Resort Guest.
