Which resort are the best decorated for the holidays?

This is always tough to answer because Disney does such a great job at so many of the resorts.
With that said, you can't beat Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge or the Grand during Christmas. Poly and Contemporary are also nice, but they definitely have more subtle theming elements compared to those other 3 resorts.

From what I've seen, Wilderness Lodge, but I hope to one day spend a day visiting the hotels to see all the decorations.

December 2021 will be the first time we're at Disney for Christmas time - but I always have heard Boardwalk has nice decorations and usually has a nice Gingerbread house.
I've done some research and here are the best resorts from what I've read (order definitely up for debate):
1. Wilderness Lodge
2. Grand Floridian
3. Fort Wilderness Campgrounds
4. Beach Club
5. Yacht Club
6. Animal Kingdom Lodge
7. Boardwalk
8. Port Orleans - French Quarter
9. Contemporary Resort
10. Gran Destino Tower
11. Poly
12. Pop Century

i always liked the decorations at the Grand Floridian, especially the gingerbread house in the lobby

I've haven't seen it in person yet but, from videos I've seen I think Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Resorts during the Holidays are fantastic. Next would be Y & B Club Resorts. Looking forward to seeing it all in person.

We did this in December 2019-especially to see all of the gingerbread houses- But if you wanted me to pick only on the overall Christmas vibe of a resort? Hands down Wilderness Lodge for just pure Christmas vibe.

For me, it’s a toss up between Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. The lobby at the lodge screams cozy, especially during the holidays. But the campground is so cool with all the extra decorations that campers have put up...giving it a more down home feeling that I love.
Don’t get me wrong, the decorations and atmosphere at any of the other deluxe resorts can’t be beat, but that’s why you make time to go see them all!
