Groceries Delivery

Postby Dazzlegal » Fri Jan 29, 2021 7:08 pm

What are the best grocery delivery services that will deliver to our Disney Resort? And do we have to pick up our groceries from a certain location in the resort or will they deliver the groceries to our room? This will be in late 2022. Thanks.

We have done the Garden Grocer, they deliver great items at fair prices. Nothing but great service every time we have ordered!

I've heard other guests who have used Amazon and Instacart and had great luck. Thanks for the Garden Grocer tip.

We stayed at Pop Century last November and we had items delivered from Target. We had to spend at least $35 to have it delivered, but it was very convenient and easier than us having to go get it and so much cheaper than us buying items at the Pop. The items were delivered to the Luggage Counter infront of the Pop.

Items we bought:
2 cases of water
Breakfast foods
and other items

If you're an Amazon Prime member, I have used Amazon Prime Now and it works well. If you are buying enough groceries, delivery is free for Prime members and you can pay for 1-hour delivery. You can also select groceries from Whole Foods.

You can build your entire cart before you leave for vacation and just place the order the day you're going to arrive and have them leave the groceries with bell services. Bell services WILL refrigerate your groceries for you! Currently there is no charge for bell services to hold your groceries, but they do charge a $6.00 fee to deliver the groceries to your room. Depending on the hotel, that delivery fee may be well worth it. Consider some of the hotels that are really spread out like Caribbean Beach, you'd need to take the internal bus to get to the lobby and retrieve your groceries and then take the internal bus back (or your rental car). For a hotel like The Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower that are more self-contained then it is not as big of a deal.

Amazon hands down. My family ordered it for our trips and we ended up having a weeks load of leftovers so it was great that we used Amazon for our trip!
