Staying there March 7-12. Excited to try it out. We normally stay off property, but thought we’d give on property a second chance with the big deals going on. Hopefully I don’t regret it!

We stayed there for the first time last December. Wish we had more time to explore the resort.

Will be staying there for the first time next year in April. Going to be there for four days while we go to Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens and Sea World. This resort looks so amazing and how big it is. I especailly love how the Skyliners are connected to them and definitely will be riding them.

We plan on staying at CBR during our next trip. We normally stay at POR which we loooove but change is good and being close to the Skyliner will be awesome!

Skyliner has been a huge boost for CBR! Our first-timer friends will be staying there next month while we are at YC. It will be so easy for us to meet up. I can't wait to see their reactions!

Looking forward to staying here for my rescheduled honeymoon in November! I stayed there 8 or 9 years ago, and we stayed in the Pirate rooms, which were quite cool, though my only complaint then was how far they were located from everything (of course this was well before the Skyliner, which would have been close to where we stayed the first time), since this seems to be a reasonably large resort. This time around, we are staying in a King room---does anyone know where these are typically located? I know we can sort of make a request for certain "islands" when we get to the online check-in portion of our resort planning, but I was curious if they were concentrated in one or two areas, so I didn't try to waste a request for an area where King beds are not located. Thanks any & all in advance for your expertise! This will be my husband's first time in Disney (my 10th). Since we had to cancel our original honeymoon trip due to COVID travel restrictions, we are ITCHING to be down there as soon as we can. Haha! Please let me know if this post should go somewhere else. This is my first one here on this forum! Well wishes to all!

I'm not totally sure on the answer, maybe someone else may know, but here's a resource that may be helpful

I agree with the size of the resort we stayed Trinidad on our last visit and it was such a long walk to get to the main lobby & the pirate rooms were a bit small.

I think that a lot of the hate CBR gets is from people who stayed there during the demolition and construction that was going on when they were building the Skyliner and Riviera. Honestly it looks like an awesome resort. The main pool looks really fun. I would probably request the Aruba section as it is within walking distance of the Riviera.

I stayed at CBR last January as an added stay to our trip (we stayed in Beach Club at the beginning of our trip).
One thing to note that we were not aware of is that there are no elevators at CBR. The resort is only 2 floors, but if you have trouble climbing stairs or have a lot of luggage, you want to request a first floor room. Thankfully bell services came to drop off and pick up our luggage at CBR so we didn't need to try to get it up or down the stairs.
If you want to be close to the CBR Skyliner, Jamaica is the closest set of buildings to that Skyliner, very short walk and the (cheaper) standard rooms are available in Jamaica. You can also call Disney ahead of time and request a particular set of buildings. When I called, I asked that I be close to the Skyliner and the cast member recommended Jamaica - so if you're not sure, you can call and ask and they can help you.
Just my opinion but CBR is definitely not my favorite resort - considering it is a moderate resort I thought the rooms were only so-so and have a motel feel to them. The rooms have a very noisy HVAC system that feels like it is out of the 70's. I also think the rooms are in need of a renovation (last renovation was in 2015 for the standard rooms).
The biggest advantage of CBR though is location. The CBR Skyliner station is the "hub" for all of the Skyliner routes, so when you get there you're on a non-stop trip to Hollywood Studios or Epcot, no need to get off and transfer to a different line like you would at Pop Century or AoA or even Riviera (for Hollywood Studios).
CBR also has a beautiful lake you can take a stroll around.
To be honest though, for the price - I think Pop Century had nicer rooms and also has Skyliner access - and I'd rather save the money staying there vs. staying at CBR.

AnimalKingdomFan79, THANK YOU! This is a great resource! The room finder function is exactly what I may need! Agreed--they were a smidgey small, though I admittedly spent very little time in the resort room, so it wasn't as big a deal to me as I know it is for many. Wishing you very well!

CBR was our first resort actually when it first opened. I've been binge watching a vlog series (L&R Dreaming) and it's been so handy with all the refurb info and transportation options. It was ironic to watch it as there trip was December 2019 right before everything shut down. The food court looks amazing.

CBR is always the first resort I ask for, and if there's availability, I never even ask about anywhere else. Love the tropical theme and the steel drum background music.

My kiddos love the pool! Not a huge fan of their QS option so we would hop on the skyliner and go over to Pop to eat.

I stayed her for President's Week and just returned. It was great! I was in Martinique and took full advantage of being close to Riviera. The food at Primo Piatto is delicious! Here is a view of the resort from Topolinos. Best breakfast I've had in so long! Run and eat there if you can get a reservation!

How was the Skyliner line for park opening to HS and Epcot?

Skyliner feed-back (why is this censored as one word? lol)! Just returned from Caribbean.
Hollywood, I got in line an hour before the Skyliner started running each time, and was about 10-20th in line. The Skyliner starts running 1 hour before open, but each time, it actually started hauling guests early, then we waited in a temp check queue at HS for about 15-20 min until let in the park. - On 3/7 they were not letting anyone rope drop anything in Toy Story Land, only Smugglers Run and Mickey and Minnie's. On 3/10, they were rope dropping every ride.
Epcot, I got in line about 30 min before the Skyliner started running each time. On 3/8 I was about 6th in line, and it started running an hour before open. When we went again on 3/11, that same 30 minutes, we were about 60th in line. Spring Break crowds definitely picked up late in the week.
Hopefully this helps anyone with planning

Does anyone know what they mean by "child bed" for fifth sleeper in terms of size? We've stayed in a Villa at Poly and my oldest, who was 13 at the time, slept in the fold down bed no problem. But I don't remember it being specified as a "child bed." Is the fold down bed at CB smaller than the one in the Villas at Poly?
Thanks!!

Don't know the exact size, but my 3 year old laid in it, and i'd say maybe up to a 5-6 year old could fit on it? it folds out under the TV
