Just wondering how many of us stay at Shades of Green when you goto WDW? Great resort if you are eligible to use it.

We spent our honeymoon there when it was called the Disney Inn. I am really dating myself.

Very nice! It has the biggest standard rooms. Great you brought up the history of it.

Older, but very nice-looking resort. What do you have to do to be "eligible" to stay there? (Have a 3 handicap?) Just joking!!!

My family has stayed several times. We love when they have a special that includes breakfast, it's a yummy buffet. Very nice site rooms for sure. Only downside is the buses are much less frequent but that's easy enough to work around as its a short walk to the TTC.

Be military, retired, or a veteran.

Stayed there in the mid 1990's when i was active duty Air Force - really nice accommodations and a much discounted room rate compared to the adjacent Polynesian and Grand Floridian - would love to stay there again but even as a veteran there are specific eligibility stipulations that unfortunately make me no longer qualify, but I have nice memories of it :)
