I've heard that older kids can order off the kid's menu but will usually have to take a larger portion (great!) and pay a little more (not a problem at all). Does anyone have any direct experience with this? Do cast members get upset or whatever? I don't want to be THAT person and cause problems, but I also want to have nice, fun dinners where everyone can find something they like and one of my kids, who is older than 9, is very picky but 99% of the time can find something on the kid's menu. Thanks!

Anyone can order off the kids menu, except buffets and other Pri Fixe menus. I have not noticed the portions being any larger.

As far as picky eaters, we had luck with appetizers, once we convinced them that they didn’t have to eat the whole thing, just try one, they began to try new things and sometimes liked it.

As to the servers, no worries, they have seen it all. They just want you to have a pleasant experience, and tip well.
