This will be my family's first trip to Disney World. We decided to make the trip out from Pasadena this summer since we aren't able to go to Disneyland or DCA. Also, anyone know the approximate time it takes to get to the Magic Kingdom by boat from the Wilderness Lodge? Thanks!
It takes about 20 minutes to go from the boat dock to the check point. I would leave extra time for incidentals.

Geyser Point has become one of our favorite outdoor lounges; you can't beat the ambiance! They did incredible at this resort, including the DVC additions. Great food and great beverages every time.

Here are some photos from our last visit in Feb 2020 - it was a BEAUTIFUL evening before Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom. What a night to remember!

So glad you like the photos! I am not a professional photographer, but I've been an enthusiast for some time now, and when I arrive at Walt Disney World, I get super excited and motivated to capture moments that I can look back on at any point in time, and remember the exact moment of where I was, the weather, the smells, and the sights. This rather cooler Friday evening at Wilderness Lodge on Feb 28th, 2020 had amazing golden light everywhere. The design of the resort handles that light amazingly with the coppers, browns and greens highlighted nicely.

The Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful from all the photos and videos I've seen. I hope my family and I will have a chance to stay there one day.

We plan to visit in Sept for a meal at Whispering Canyon restaurant can't wait we haven't had chance to explore this hotel yet. I noticed you said in a later post it takes about 15 minutes from MK. How often do the boats run during the day? We will need the larger boat that is able to accommodate a wheelchair. I am planning to give ourselves about an hour to travel do you think that will be enough time or should we plan for more time?

Oh well the one day we wanted to go there are no reservations for the whole day looks like they may be closed or something as all the days around it have lots of openings. Oh well.
