We love Pop Century! The skyliner is great, the environment is great, etc. I don't know if it'll still be like this in March but we were there and I would recommend getting to the food court with extra time because the line for it was relatively long when we were there :)

First time going to Pop in October! Two grandmothers who have been friends since high school going without the kids and grandkids. Hoping to stay in the 70's section since we graduated in 1972.

Out of the WDW resorts that I've stayed at, Pop was my favorite. Such great detail throughout the entire resort

We requested a section in our resort reservation, go to your My Disney Experience app and see if you can in the "resort reservation" tab. I can't remember when it let me do it, it may have been closer to check in time, a few days before. I hope yall have a great trip, we were there last week.

I have stayed at Pop Century 3 times and have stayed at the 50s 60s and the 90s building which I just stayed at last weekend! I love how it is accessible to the Skyliner and you can walk across the bridge to check out Art of Animation! :)

Pop is my second home. It's not spread out like a lot of resorts. It's more of a 'moderate' value resort. The theming alone is fantastic. You can walk over to Arts of Animation which is another fun resort. It has three pools, but no pool slides. I hope to be down there in late 2021 or 2022. I'm just waiting for the parks to return to normal. I really recommend this resort.

Pop Century was a great resort to stay at! we were there last Aug 2019, just before they open the skyliners so hopefully we get a chance to ride them soon! They were very accommodating and we were close to the main lobby which was great after a ling day at the parks. I thought the food in the food court was good and the pool was a good size! Was awesome checking out the different areas of the resort! Cannot wait to go back :)

Now that Pop has the Skyliner is there, it is my understanding that buses to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are once an hour (roughly). Has anyone else noticed if that means buses to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are delayed as well? I have family members that do not want to ride the Skyliner and no matter what I tell them, they will not change their mind.

Personally, it seems like Disney is forcing guests to take the Skyliner. I realize that is probably an exaggeration but what can you do when people are scared to ride on a mode of transportation?

We stayed at Pop in September, and I wasn't overly impressed. We normally stay off property, and the little rooms were a bit crammed with only 2 adults and 3 year old. We also did not anticipate the massive lines in the morning for the buses or the Skyliner (and this is when parks were ghost towns). If you're able, have someone in your party get in line 90 minutes before the bus or Skyliner starts running. Otherwise you'll be miles back and get to the parks after open. If you can swing that, then it's not so bad. But value wise, for the same price, you can get a pretty nice hotel suite or condo off prop.

So I have not stayed at Pop Century since the Skyliner went online. I know the busses always had lines, but the Skyliner had long lines as well? Hmmmm. Well, that kind of makes sense.

Just out of curiosity, how did they do the line from Art? Did they combine the lines or did they make each resort form their own line?

Art wasn't open in September when we went. The Skyliner line is long, too, since you can't take a bus to HS or Epcot, you have to take the Skyliner. Unless there is bad weather, then obviously it's buses. Once you ride to Caribbean, then you get in another long line there for the Skyliner since the resorts merge at the hub. If you don't go at open, I'm sure it's much more open, but that was our experience. About an hour at Pop, then 40 minutes at Caribbean, just to get to HS in the morning.

Have you ever been there before? The theming is really great. I enjoyed getting up just as the sun was coming up and walking around the resort and wandering over to Art of Animation. I don’t know if they still have this, but at one time they would bring out an inflatable screen and project movies onto it at night.

They do have a few pools for swimming and there are onsite laundry facilities for you to use. The dining hall is fun in the morning because they would show old Mickey Mouse cartoons back to back.
