Hi everyone,
With the limited hours at the parks. I'm wondering for suggestions on the best places to take my family. We have two kids, ages 6 and 8.
Also, is it true that we can only go to a resort if we have dining reservations?

Re: Resort Hopping Suggestions
I would definitely check out Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village (the smaller of the 2 AKL resorts). That is a great sit down restaurant that has kids options, but also great views of the savannah! I would check out both, the larger Jambo House as well (note: Jambo House currently has NO dining or beverage options open at this time) They have free shuttles that can take you back and forth. Jambo House's lobby is stunning. You can spend a lot of time checking out the animals outside from various viewing decks around each resort. I believe there are little scavenger huts you can do with the kids at each resort too - ask the front desk for the guides if so!CreationsOfAria wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:53 am Hi everyone,

The Wilderness Lodge is also great to checkout with the kids. Great dining options inside and outside at Geyser Point. Boulder Ridge has a building with amazing Walt historical memorabilia including parts of his own mini train that he used to ride on in his back yard. Highly recommend this! And down the road at Fort Wilderness, you can check out the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. You can reserve some activities, or just checkout the beautiful grounds of the new stable.
Lastly, I would recommend Polynesian. Minus the construction going on in the front entrance area, the atmosphere alone makes this resort a fan favorite for sure. They have most dining options open including the Pineapple Lanai for dolewhip. I would recommend finishing an evening here with a dessert/dolewhip and getting a nice spot on the beach watching the sunset over the Grand, Magic Kingdom and Contemporary - and also the awesome boats moving in and out along Seven Seas Lagoon!
Regarding getting into these resorts - that definitely might a challenge. I've heard mixed reports of some with rental cars or Lyft's trying to get in via the security booths at the entrances and they were told if they don't have a dining reservation, they cannot come in. This is of course purely related to COVID guidlines. I've also heard reports of people having that same interaction with resort security at the booth, BUT the security Cast Member telling them they can take a bus from Disney Springs to get into the resort. That is a little crappy, but if you really want to visit a resort, IMO it is definitely worth it!
Hope this helps you guys out! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask away!

Wow! I don't think I could have asked for a better answer than that! I even did online chat with Disney and they barely gave me anything, just links to the resorts.
Thank you so much!
