Dining question

Postby SusanReed » Mon May 31, 2021 7:04 am

My daughter is 13 and she is somewhat a picky eater. Is it possible to order from the children’s menu but get an adult portion ? Obviously we would pay more , I just wasn’t sure if that was something that could be done . No specific restaurants just a general question . Thank you 😀😀

I checked out some other Disney discussion boards on this topic. It seems many folks have been successful at restaurants accommodating a teen's desire to order an item off the kid's menu but get an adult portion (for an upcharge, and of course excluding buffet locations), though it can depend on location. They say it's essential to explain the situation to your server in a nice way, and most of the time they will be able to make it happen. That being said, I did see other folks on the boards say their request was rejected. But it never hurts to ask :D
