I've eaten dinner at Be Our Guest a few times. Is it on the pricey side? Yes. But have I ever had a bad meal there? Nope.
I'm a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, so the theming alone makes this one of my favorite places on property (it's also the only place where you can see the Beast, I believe). But in my experience, the food has also been great. The last time I was there (2018) I had the French Onion Soup (which I especially recommend if you like cheese) and the Filet Mignon, which I recall being tender and flavorful. So for me, it has been worth it, but I'm also curious what other people's experiences have been.

The atmosphere is great but even for WDW the cost is an ouch!

Breakfast used to be the way to go to get a pre-park opening entry, and then bounce over to 7 Ds. If you are on the dining plan the breakfast used to count as a quick service
so it was a great used of a qs credit.

For us it was one of those things we experienced-and might try every few years but it's not a must do for us. I think Belle's enchanted story experience is much better and doesn't cost a thing-(can't wait for it to open back up)

I have only eaten there once and that was for lunch. It was fine, but wasn't overly impressed. I would rather go to Liberty Tree

I've eaten lunch and dinner there. Both were good meals. I think my preference is lunch because, in my opinion, there are better places to get the same food they offer for dinner. The only thing about dinner is seeing the Beast and getting a photo with him (in non-COVID times). You can also get alcohol during dinner. But, as far as going in general? It's worth going at least once! The atmosphere is amazing with such detail that makes you feel like you are in the Beast's castle.

The food at BOG is decent, but it’s really all about the atmosphere! It is so worth it if you have any big Beauty and the Beast fans in your travel party! In the ballroom, the snow outside the windows was made from real cells from the actual cartoon! It’s so neat!

As many have said, it's expensive, can be difficult to get reservations, but the turkey sandwich is amazing! It's very large as well, with lots of fries. A good deal on my opinion!

Pre-COVID, Lunch was a quick service meal too - and dining plan or not it was reasonably priced. The experience is really cool and if you're a big Beauty and the Beast fan it is worth doing at least once.

Now it is a sit down meal for both lunch and dinner (I dont think it is open for breakfast) - not sure if I would spend the money now to do it, especially since I've been there before and with all of the COVID restrictions in place you're getting less of an experience but paying the same price.

For the price, it is way too high in my opinion. The only way our family of Five will be able to go back there is if they bring back the QS lunch. I really hope they do so more families can enjoy this great restaurant!

I've only ever been at lunch and I've only ever gotten the french onion soup, but it's one of my favorites on property so I'd say it's worth it for that alone :D

The food is pretty good, but I don’t like the counter service set-up. It would be better if they changed it to a casual table service, with the counter-service breakfast and lunch menus

I have tried to get reservations but, always shows no availability. Can you walk up and wait to be seated?

My husband and I went there when it first opened as Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites. We decided that we both get a must do restaurant each time we go to Disney World for our own family traditions ... and I chose this. Granted now they increased the price and it's two sit downs vs. one on the dining plan. One thing I would say is that their steak has been really good even compared to places like the Brown Derby in my opinion. Like others said, you really pay for the atmosphere and for pictures with the Beast for the dinner price (currently lunch and dinner price as fixed meals). We did go during pandemic and the Beast did walk around so you could take a socially distanced selfie. I can also say that the spacing of the indoor dining tables was probably the best at this restaurant compared to others we ate at.
