Columbia Harbour House

Postby cindyandkurt » Wed Jan 27, 2021 12:52 am

Is it just us or is anyone else missing the Columbia Harbour House? The second floor is the greatest place to take a break and people watch out of the windows overlooking Liberty Square. And the food ain't bad either😅

Absolutely! This is my favorite place in MK to take a break. The view is wonderful, food is decent for a quick service, and the atmosphere is relaxed compared to much of Magic Kingdom. Also, in my experience the cast members that work here are fantastic.

100% Agree with you there! I like the salmon entree and then going upstairs to a window table and just taking a nice break! My fave meal and the view from the 2nd floor!! :D :D

Love, Love, love the Columbia Harbor house. Going upstairs and taking a break is like a little known gem. So many people walk right by and don't know it is there.
Too bad it is still closed. They are actually using it for the Extended COVID social distancing queue line for PP.

This place is such a gem! I am often found waiting for “rope drop” at 11:00am to grab a lobster roll and people watch from the second floor. I have yet to try the lighthouse sandwich but might need to make a point of that when it reopens.

One of our staples-even if we go up to just sit and hydrate for a bit-and make funny faces at each other:

We love it as well. For the longest time we didn't know it existed either. I'd have to say that the "hidden gem" part was starting to go away before it closed. The last few times we went there wasn't any empty tables on the 2nd floor. lol...

I also love CHH. Really hope it returns to normal soon. Always enjoyed the 2nd floor. Snagging a table by a window and charging my phone or power bank while enjoying the fried shrimp and fries was a wonderful little break from the busy of MK.

Columbia Harbor House may be closed but they are currently serving part of their menu at Tomorrowland Terrace. I'm sure some items are missing but they have the fried fish, shrimp, lobster role, and of course chicken nuggies.

It's my favorite place to eat at Magic Kingdom. We love to sit on the second floor facing haunted mansion. The people watching is amazing. It's not a trip with at least one if not two visits.

Love Columbia Harbour, love the food...the only trouble is they pipe in shanties as background music, and since I know some of them, its hard not to sing along...

This place is such a hidden gem! The view from the upstairs seating area is fantastic, we love to people watch up there! The food is great for quick service and we love how spacious the interior of the restaurant is!

Definitely my favorite counter service place in MK. The second floor is always the best place to eat! :)
