Florida School Choice

I had a job offer in Florida that I did not take; however, I still have kept looking and right now I have offers. The hard part for our family is schools. The Davenport area in terms of bang for your book in housing, proximity to WDW, shopping ect. looks very appealing. However, the schools seem like they could use some help. With that said- I found this resource helpful and thought I would share with you all.

Thank you so much for these posts about Florida schools! I would really love to move ASAP. My husband is still unsure for several reasons, so it will likely not happen. There is nothing wrong with my doing some research though.

Our twin boys are in 9th grade in a magnet program based on IT, more specifically the Oracle Academy. I don't see anything even remotely similar in central Florida.

There are a lot of private options-not sure about the magnet school options.
