So would like to plan a trip for a sick friend that has blood cancer. I'd like to raise money or setup a fundraiser so he can go. With disability and not a lot of money this something I'd like to do for him.

Need advice to be directed in the right direction so it's done proper and done right. Maybe you nice folks at ResortTV1 have a few suggestions.

I'd like to plan a week trip to wdw and visit all 4 parks.

Recommendations for which resort and places to eat etc etc.

Like to raise enough money to pay for the trip.

What do you guys think? Is it doable, easy process or something that can be done. Any advice would be appreciated.

In terms of planning, I would budget for everything that you think you would like to cover: food, park admission, lodging, transportation, etc. so you don't have to be counting costs later on. I think getting a travel agent involved would be a great help so they can take some of the weight off by securing some of those reservations etc for you as well as giving you information about trip insurance etc. as that could be important in this case. I'm biased towards Caribbean Beach Resort as a place to stay because it's close to the Skyliner which may be 'easier' access for getting to HS & Epcot, however, there's a lot of walking around that resort, so I would consider your friend's mobility when it comes to picking a good resort to stay at.

Generally speaking, I would start with getting a TA quote and seeing what the costs will be and then go from there. When it comes to getting donations you have to consider how big your 'network' is and if folks are willing to donate. (Outside of just asking for donations, you consider selling items/making gift baskets, selling cookies etc.) I truly hope that this works out for you both and I hope you have a magical time!!

There are a lot of factors involved but I would start with how much do you need to raise? Then go from there.

I'm going to make an assumption and I apologize if this is an incorrect assumption - but I'm going to assume you are trying to do this as economically as possible.

With that assumption in mind...

One consideration is would you stay on-site or off-site for your hotel?

You can save quite a bit of money staying at an offsite hotel and many of them have shuttle buses to get you to the parks for free. Consider the Disney Springs area hotels - https://disneyspringshotels.com/

If on-site, check out the various value resorts. Pop Century is my favorite Value resort but it is usually more expensive than the All Star resorts.

You should also consider when you're going to go. If you go in off peak season you can also save a bunch of money on hotels, flights, even Disney World tickets, etc... September might be a good month to target. It can allow you to stretch those dollars even further.

For eats - its too bad there is no dining plan right now, but this again is going to come down to money. I would maybe budget for 1 really nice dinner, Topolino's Dinner or California Grill are 2 popular ones. I don't know your friend, but also consider maybe 1 Character dining such as Garden Grill in Epcot.

It is doable, but like others have said - you need to come up with a budget first of how much money you want to raise.

In determining cost you might also want to consider one of these Disney affiliated hotels because you can also get a quick service dining card to make snacks and quick service meals a little cheaper. I put the link below that explains how to get a "pseudo" meal plan right now.
