How to do medications while at Disney?

Postby MarcyElly » Mon Aug 09, 2021 8:03 am

Hi All,

I take a few medications in the morning and around supper time. The morning I'm not concerned about -- I can just take them before we head out. But for supper time, I plan on usually being in the parks. What are the rules/regulations on bringing prescribed vs. over the counter medications into the parks? Thanks for any info you may have!

I have never had any issues bringing medication with me into the parks. I usually carry both prescription and OTC medications in my park bag. I usually keep them in the original bottles but I have never been asked to show them to security at the entrance or when taking the medication.
Hope this is helpful.

From what I've read on other blogs, prescription and OTC meds are fine, provided they aren't in glass containers.
