I need to go on a cruise

I've never been on a cruise. What is it about cruises that people love?
It’s a very easy or what i like to call “brainless vacation,” there’s entertainment (Movies, Broadway style shows, Comedy Club, Pirate night, Fireworks, family activities, Kids Clubs, Adult only areas and more) and food (the food is amazing, buffets, 5 star meals for dinner, snack stands, ice cream, and this is all included) everywhere for all ages. You don’t have to think for 1 second. You get to visit multiple places in one vacation and Disney’s Private island Castaway Cay. It’s the most relaxing trip in the world. And it’s run by Disney so you know it’s good. Oh, and if you go on the Dream or the Fantasy there’s a “Water Coaster” A water slide where you actually get propelled up by water jets.
It’s definitely worth it. One thing I do suggest (whether or you’ve done a cruise in the past or get motion sickness or not or it’s your very first time) wear a pair of sea bands and take dramamine. Not feeling well on vacation is the last thing you want. Especially on a cruise since the first night you’re getting your sea legs ready for the rest of the trip. Highly recommend the Wonder, Magic and Dream. Is DCL more expensive then other cruise lines? Yes but as was stated in a previous post everything is included, including the free ice cream by the pool, endless free ice cream!! And each night at the 3 main restaurants you have the same two servers with you so by the second or third night they already know what you want and what you may like and suggest that to you. Animators palate alone is a reason to take the cruise. The restaurant is all black and white with sketches and drawings of different Disney characters around the place and slowly starts to get color throughout your meal. At the end when you get your dessert, full color. It’s honestly an awesome experience. (That’s on all their ships but Wonder and Magic versions are better in my opinion. Fantasy and Dream are still cool for the restaurant since you get to talk with crush and have your drawing show up on the screens.)Disney Donna wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:24 am I've just had a quick look at a Disney cruise and they seem like really good value, I'm soooo tempted.
Thank you for the advice, we've never been on a cruise so the seabands would definitely be something to remember.BJN wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 6:20 amIt’s definitely worth it. Of course, you're very welcome! It honestly makes for a fun trip. Haha nice. Hopefully you guys get to go soon. You can also show the family some youtube videos of tours of the different ships as well. Also since it will be your first cruise try and plan for the 3 or 4 day ones just to see how to guys handle the water and ship. If the motion doesn't bother anybody by all means go for the 5 to 7 night cruise the next time! If you have any other questions feel free to ask!Disney Donna wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:03 amThank you for the advice, we've never been on a cruise so the seabands would definitely be something to remember.BJN wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 6:20 amIt’s definitely worth it. It all sounds so magical and very Disney, I've just got to convince the hubby, my older son is already very keen to go, the youngest is only 3 so he doesn't get much of say
