What do you like to do at the cruise or on the cruise, and what do you like to have for breakfest on the cruise as well?

I try to take advantage of all the onboard entertainment while balancing relaxation time and excursions. It's a challenging job

The Aquaduck! That is so much fun. Fireworks at Sea is such and awesome experience. Watching the plays like Villians Night and Beauty and the Beast. Arriving at The Bahamas!

Visiting Castaway Cay, dressing up for Pirates Night, and the fireworks at sea are my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise.

I have never been on a cruise (unless you count the ferry that takes you to Alcatraz). Has anyone ever gone solo? Is it worth the price going by yourself?

My wife can’t always make the cruise at the last minute so I sometimes I ask the travel services if there are any solo inclusive cruises.
Not singles but solo. It’s different. Also ya don’t have to dine alone.

Check with a experienced Diz travel service.
The amount of kids on Diz Cruises are limited and areas on the ships are off limits to kids at times so there is plenty of adult atmosphere on board.

Interesting. So use the word solo rather than single. I will make sure to use that...whenever cruising starts up again. Thank you.

Just tell the agent you’re solo and if they are worth their salt they'll be savvy in helping you book. No extra charge to use an experienced agent.

Best pubs on any cruise line are Disney.
No casinos - Diz knows how to get those dollars out of your pocket without a slot machine.

Amazing the solo travelers you’ll meet. All with a story.
One time a nice lady who’s husband had past and they had been fond of Disney cruises and wasn’t about to give them up.

Others their friends balked and canceled at the last minute.
My favorite cruises solo or with the Wifie.

When Disney re-opens cruise bookings beware 85% of them will fill up within 12 to 18 hours. Just as fast as is possible.
Word is they are starting to recall crew members so maybe that's a sign bookings are on the horizon.

Disney is THE most tight lipped about their intentions of all the cruise lines.
Zero info of any kind. Absolutely none.

BTW:
Disney cocktails are not cheap. However hold the thought they are a strong "free" (AKA unmeasured) pour of quality premium booze with pricing in line with other cruise lines measured pouring of cheap-o well quality booze.
In other words less of a hangover with quality booze and more of it for your money.
Plus its a class act with clever, fun, themed drinks.

That is not surprising. I’m hoping to back to WDW in 2022 so maybe I can get a cruise in as well.

Breakfast...the buffet is awesome! (corn beef hash :D )
Place we look forward to eating at the most: Palo's. (Dinner and the brunch...but if you can only do one...go for dinner!)
On deck...ice cream and cookies! :D

We love to go to the dining room for the sit-down breakfasts. Most people do the buffet which is always crowded. The sit downs are relatively less crowded and the food is fantastic. I also love being served - the wait staff are always fantastic!

I love to relax in one of the adult only areas. For breakfast, I love the Smoked Salmon, potatoes and eggs.

I haven't been on a cruise since since Premier Cruise Lines "Big Red Boat" ....LOL. If that doesn't date myself nothing will! It was a great cruise and I'm ready to book another cruise soon....

fun fact about the big red boat, disney started testing cruising by adding disney fun to the big red boat back in the 80s or 90s (can’t remember). soon they quit and premier cruise lines started doing looney tunes stuff for that ship. in 2000 i believe, they went bankrupt.

Yes ....I booked it through Disney as a Land/Sea Package. There were Disney characters on board but almost unnoticeable. That was 1991

The best part about the cruise for me is that it is a completely brainless vacation. From the second you step on the ship everything is taken care of for you and you really just have a carefree experience. Food, Shows, Movies, Activities, character meet and greets, shopping, kids clubs, adult only areas, spa, pools, it’s all just so easy and fun. I’ve been on 3 Disney Cruises, 2 on the Fantasy and 1 on the Dream. So far and plan on getting on the Wish as soon as it sets sail.

We agree with Just Theo....and, special props go to the crew for their attention to young people with special needs....not only did the Captain of the Dream come and visit with everyone, Captain Mickey made two special appearances, and made sure to greet each young person individually (pre-Covid, of coursse). Every Cast Member gave our special family members extra personal treatment, and we can hardly wait to sail again!
