Paris Travel Guide (including DLP) for Newbies?

Postby Disfreak » Wed Apr 20, 2022 8:53 am

Anyone have suggestions for good beginners travel guides for first time visitors to Paris for US travelers? I have an upcoming opportunity to travel to Paris at the end of the year and would like to be as prepared as possible. Of course I will be visiting Disneyland Paris! Can't miss that chance to check that off my bucket list! So any sites that gives planning tips for visiting that park for US visitors would also be appreciated.

It's been several years since we last visited Disneyland Paris (EuroDisney), but the Mouse Hacking article seems relatively on-point. If budget allows, I would definitely stay at the Disneyland Hotel, the hotel was beautiful and the proximity to the park is closer than the Contemporary or Bay Lake is to Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. If time allows brush up on park history/lore. For example, Frontierland in Paris Disney has a wonderfully themed and cohesive story, I will not ruin it for you. Paris Disney is a very interesting park, as you can imagine, there are lots of unique details. You can walk in and have a great time but some of the design and theming changes are worth reading up on if you have time.

Have a wonderful trip!
