Re: Tell about staying off site
Following. I am staying at a timeshare near SeaWorld this summer and at Orange Lake (near Animal Kingdom) next spring. I am not looking forward to driving a rental around the area, but my family already has the timeshare points.

I have been craving a Gideon’s cookie since I have been back home.

Re: Pop Century!
Pop is my second home. It's not spread out like a lot of resorts. It's more of a 'moderate' value resort. The theming alone is fantastic. You can walk over to Arts of Animation which is another fun resort. It has three pools, but no pool slides. I hope to be down there in late 2021 or 2022. I'm jus...

Re: Best Burger?
The Gibson burger at the Boathose was delicious, but it gave me awful heartburn later that night.

Re: Never Again
Foodwise it was the chocolate-covered banana, something about it was just gross. I'll stick to my $$ mickey premium bars Also, I didn't have the best time on big thunder mountain not sure if it's because I sat in the back but it was surprisingly intense, a bit too jerky for me. I probably may skip ...

Re: Be our Guest yay or nay
The food is pretty good, but I don’t like the counter service set-up. It would be better if they changed it to a casual table service, with the counter-service breakfast and lunch menus

Re: Disney Art Books!
I inherited my grandparents’ Art of Disney book from the 70s. I also have the Art of Snow White from its 50th anniversary. I recently got the poster art book and a book of WDW maps.

Re: Fort Wilderness Horseback Riding
I went back in the 80s. It wasn’t very exciting. The horses walked slow and the scenery was kind of boring.

Re: WDW Park Tours - Which is your favorite and why?
I have only been on one - Savor the Savannah. It was nice. It is like a more personalized, small group Kilimanjaro Safari. We also spent time at the same Boma that Wild Africa Trek goes to. I was able to just hang out and watch the giraffes, and I chatted with a CM about them. Also, the food and dri...

Not embarrassing, but Hall of Presidents. Isn’t that what it is there for?

Re: People Mover and Splash Mountain
I asked planDisney last week. They are estimating that the PeopleMover will reopen in early March. However, Disney keeps pushing back the date.

Re: The Soul of Jazz
From the looks of it, the Soul of Jazz exhibit is pretty disappointing. Disney just created the equivalent of a series of school project displays.

Re: Disney's River Country
I went back in the 80s. I loved it, especially the river tubing slide. The safety regulations were much more lax back then. The tubes would get very congested at points. I went down the first hill, and my dad followed me. He crashed into me and knocked me right off my tube. The lifeguard dove down t...

First time going to Pop in October! Two grandmothers who have been friends since high school going without the kids and grandkids. Hoping to stay in the 70's section since we graduated in 1972. We requested a section in our resort reservation, go to your My Disney Experience app and see if you can ...
