Re: Have you ever dreamt that...

I once dreamed that I was at Hollywood Studios and they announced that Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway was shutting down early -- but they would be running The Great Movie Ride in its place for the rest of the day.

Re: New WDW Passholder Magnet

I want it! But I'm probably not going to make it to the parks on the right dates to get it.

FYI, the Swan Reserve hotel is opening in July 2021 and is supposed to start taking reservations starting today. I did go through Marriott's site to see what the rates are for my birthday month (August) and wasn't able to book anything yet. It looks gorgeous, though.

Re: Art of Animation

I stayed in a Little Mermaid room in January 2020, just before the refurb. I'm very comfortable with walking, but that long walk back to my room after a day at the parks was more exhausting than I expected. But I loved the theming, and I was even able to see the Hollywood Studios fireworks. The food...

Tip: Save the receipt if you buy the refillable mug at your first resort. It should be good for 14 days from date of purchase, so it will be good through the stay at your second resort.

Re: Where is an embarrassing place you fell asleep?

I’ve fallen asleep on the bus back to the resort. I’m thankful that I didn’t have to drive! I took the bus to Disney Springs after Epcot closed. I managed to get on the bus early and get a window seat, and one of the last groups to get on split up with one of them sitting next to me. 5 minutes into...

It was summer of 2019. Tower of Terror had a 15-minute standby way, so I got in line. After about 10 minutes, the line stopped moving and they announced that one of the elevators was down. I tried to tough it out, but it was hot and I started feeling a bit dizzy. So I got out of line and stopped at ...

You know the smoking volcano in the background in the Mexico pavilion? That terrified me because I thought it was going to erupt!

Re: Pop Century!

My experience with Skyliner last October was that there were long lines forming before the Skyliner started running. However, I would wait until 30 minutes after start time and get on with no lines whatsoever. Once it gets running, the line moves really fast. I would not recommend the Skyliner if yo...
