Re: Oogie Boogie Bash

Alright! Who got tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash? I was able to grab two dates! I did. I had to work the day they went on sale. And after the stress of getting park tickets the first day that they went on sale back in April, I decided I'd take a chance and wait until the second day of sales for the pa...

Re: BREAKING: DISNEYLAND TICKETS START TODAY 4/9

I lost a lot of time trying to purchase the tickets first by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" and "Select Tickets" buttons which kept sending me to the reservations queue. I thought it was an error and kept backing out of the queue because I didn't know that purchasing tickets, link...

Re: Avengers Campus - The Anticipation

I'm hoping somebody will live stream it, maybe not opening day (though that would be awesome) but sometime? it'll be a year or two before I can go, I'm sure. Is that a hint to the West Coast Crew? ;) I don't know about a live stream but considering all of the Disney YouTubers that are out there the...

Re: Disneyland to reopen on April 30th

Looking forward to it! Hopefully we can stream again soon! We miss streaming for you all monthly! Nick with Magical News Live streamed from the Touch of Disney event yesterday and only lagged once during his entire stream. Makes me wonder if Disney upgraded their internet signal knowing guests woul...

Avengers Campus - The Anticipation

When Disney announced a new "superhero land" coming to DCA I pictured a generally themed land where you could meet not only Captain America and Spiderman but characters like Dark Wing Duck and Big Hero Six too. On learning that it would be exclusively Avengers I was a little disappointed. ...

Re: Favorite Parade

My favorite is The Lion King Celebration. Great costumes, puppetry, floats, and performances by the cast. But I'd also like to give an honorable mention to the music from the Party Gras parade.

Re: Disneyland Resort Photography!

I was there for both of those premieres! Even got photos of Keira Knightley, Johnny Depp, and Orlando Bloom! Was insane crazy, but fun! I can definetly believe you about it being crazy. It didn't take long after park opening for every space along the red carpet to be filled with guests wanting to s...

Re: Disneyland Resort Photography!

In 2006 and 2007 I was able to go to the park on the days that the Pirates of the Caribbean world premiers took place. The park opened extra early for guests so that they could close at 5pm for the events. I did't stay for the red carpet arrivals but it was very interesting seeing all of the prepara...

Re: Rocket rods

I remember the ride but is it bad that I remember the queue even more? The first time I rode it the queue took 2 hours to get through. The old CircleVision 360 theater got a little monotonous with its circular switchback. I don't know how many times I had to watch that film loop and it felt like we ...

Re: What’s the one super memorable thing you’ve done at Disneyland?

Back in 2000 my mother and I attended an event at the Disneyland Hotel and spent one day in the park. I was 37 and she was in her early 70's. That night in the park it began to lightly rain. She didn't want to ride anymore rides and I'd been on them all before. So we sat on a park bench under a larg...
