Re: RunDisney
I enjoyed the ToT 10 miler. I think it didn’t seek out fast because it wasn’t a half marathon, but I don’t think the half sold out during marathon weekend either. It had some fun things along the course that made it very tower of terror themed and a nice amount to run.

I just saw the new Cirque show. Incredible! I’ve seen a few Cirque shows and this is my favorite. Wonderful music and amazing feats. Highly recommend!

Re: First Disneyland Trip EVER
Definitely see if you can get blue bayou reservations. If not, I’ve heard if you are there a little before it opens, like 10:30 am, you can get on the standby list. A good alternative is Carnation Cafe if you want some nostalgia. Cafe Orleans is an alternative for the Monte Cristo. Other than that, ...

Kite Tails Was a Surprise
I know it’s been getting a lot of bad publicity but I really enjoyed the Kite Tails show at Animal Kingdom. I was surprised at how whimsical and fun it is. The kite flyers/performers did a great job. The music is really great especially as it features some different but good versions of classic tune...

Animal Kingdom Lodge has great restaurants. Topolino at Riviera is a great choice too. Disney Springs has tons to choose from and I suggest Polite Pig, Homecomin’ or The Boathouse

Re: Disney World Annual Passes for sale again starting 9/8/21!
Where it might not have been a 70% price increase last year, because of covid there was about a year (I think less than as there might have been an increase early 2020) without any price increase. So I’ve been seeing it as a two year price increase. Not saying that’s nice or good of Disney but on pa...

Re: Disney World Annual Passes for sale again starting 9/8/21!
An email to current APs was sent and there’s a good discount for renewal. Yes, there isn’t photopass automatically added but sounds like there’s a renewal discount to add that on too. As both a WDW annual passholder and a Disneyland passholder/key holder the WDW one is not bad. At Disneyland there i...

Re: Magic Keys
I got a Dream Key. I did have issues like the address and just forced it to happen. Also in getting monthly payments. I did anticipate the Ling wait but not the issues and I feel like Disneyland dropped the ball a bit on it. But I guess we’ll see what it all does in the long run.

Got tickets today also. I didn’t try for boo bash but heard some horror stories. It was easier than any of the times getting things for Disneyland.

If you want an exact replica it’s only at Dok Ondar’s. The lightsaber building has specific parts that you can get close but not exactly.
And expect the replicas to be about $200 as well. It’s because the hilt is separate from the blade and if you want that whole replica it’ll be close to $200

Alright! Who got tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash? I was able to grab two dates! I did. I had to work the day they went on sale. And after the stress of getting park tickets the first day that they went on sale back in April, I decided I'd take a chance and wait until the second day of sales for the pa...

Disneyland isn’t the same county so probably not because Orange County is doing a lot better so far.

Re: Disneyland Paris Paid fastpasses
I think it isn’t necessarily coming to the US parks. It depends on quite a few things like keeping reservations for parks and virtual queues. Disneyland has had an extra paid fast pass system in addition to the free one so they might keep that or convert to just the MaxPass paid.

Re: How Often Do You Travel To Disney?
Normally it’s been about once a year to Florida. Starting December 2019 I had been going about every three months on average! That’s including pandemic reopening. Disneyland is a whole different story since I live 8 miles from that park. Before they canceled passes I would go about once a week. Now ...

It doesn’t have a walk up option that I know of. Like even in person they don’t. I know one reason it’s been hard to get a reservation recently is because of covid distancing. But it’s been hard in the past because it’s small and popular.

Re: Parking and park closing
Sometimes they run buses back to AK later, but most likely not after MK closes. If you pay for parking at AK, save your receipt and usually you can show it at the other park, let them know you’re park hopping and they won’t charge you again. They have also been doing free parking if you’re staying a...

I think it’s great news! I kinda figured Harmonius would premier on Oct. 1 and there would maybe be Magic Kingdom fireworks. Surprised at the AK show but glad they’ll have something. And kinda betting the boats used are the kite boats from Epcot Forever.

There is though I’ve mostly experienced it during covid distance meet and greet. They would go by Mel’s Diner and be on a stage-like platform and roped off for people to get selfies with.

Those won’t close because I believe they are not actually Disney Stores. The stores at the Orlando airport are run by parks and resorts, not by the Disney Store branch of the Disney company.

It’s hard to say. It’s such an active place it’s just so great things happen all around you there. I think I like the spider-man show the most. The HQ show is pretty cool. But so is the dr. Strange one. I didn’t get to really see the Dora Milaje show well yet. Next time I go back.

That was a wonderful spot too. I would also do the remote controlled boats near the marina. It’s sometimes hard for me to believe there was a whole marina there even though I still remember gazing at it with my own eyes.
We also loved the Monorail Cafe. Still wish they’d have that.

I don’t remember the name of the store either but I loved going to it as a kid. We’d always go our last day after riding a round trip on the monorail because we didn’t have tickets for the park. I know it was outdated and do like Downtown Disney but miss the old Disneyland Hotel.
