Pop Century. If you plan on spending most your time in the park the you don't need the moderate or luxury resorts.

Re: Attractions That Don’t Belong In The Park They’re In
The most obvious one is Guardians of the Galaxy should be in Hollywood Studios instead of Epcot. I would also argue that Tron should be there as well though.

Re: Cast Members Highly Suggest Lightning Lane and house keeping update.
I can confirm the staff shortages. Tower of Terror is normally 75+ minute wait right now due them usually only running 1 of 4 elevators. Most other attractions are impacted as well bot ToT seems to be impacted the most. As for whether or not to get LL, if you do I would recommend the strategy of dou...

I haven't really looked at this since I have an Annual pass but I thought you can upgrade your tickets anytime. Are you sure they don't let you upgrade at the ticket window?

Re: Breaking down Genie+ PPM cost (Price Per Minute) is it worth it?
Here's the problem with Genie+ and LL. It wasn't designed to assist the guest. It was designed to triple your costs for nothing in return. Can some of the high end disney users figure the system out? Sure but I can do that without paying $15 per person per day. If you do your homework you can ride a...

Re: Pop Century, Skyliner and scared of heights.
For most of your stay, the skyliner is the only means of transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. If you can't do the heights then you might want to move your stay to one of the All Star resorts, which will be bus only.

Re: Checking in at 3AM ?
Very unlikely that you can check in at 3am. You can check in early but more than likely your room won't be ready until noon or later. Typical time for me is between 12pm and 3pm when the room is ready. If you don't have things that require refrigeration, then you can park your car and head into the ...

Lightening Lane money back
Just thought I would let you know that they will refund your money for lightening lane if you request it. I got up at 7am and grabbed my first LL time which was for 10:30am. By the time I was able to schedule my second the earliest ride were for rides that are normally walk ons and the earliest was ...

Re: Pros & Cons Of Having An Annual Pass
The pros are if it saves you money. Not really much beyond that. You used to get photo pass but not any more. The only real benefit now is money. That still is pretty significant. The standard number of days is 10. If you are going to the park 10 days or more then you should absolutely get an annual...

Re: Disney World Annual Passes for sale again starting 9/8/21!
Disney is really pushing things a bit much but this is not as bad as I had feared. I've always had the Platinum pass so this is a really small increase for me personally. The ones getting screwed here are the DVC members. I was considering becoming a DVC member until this month but that's gone now....

I have seen it in pitch black this week. Not sure if this was an accident or what but they had all the neon elements turned off for some reason. It wasn't complete pitch black as in Space Mountain during Villains after hours but it was dark enough that you could see the turns.

Re: Is it worth it?
You'll need to plan out which week and see what the costs are. All things aside it's much better being in a Disney resort. However the prices per night are fluctuating wildly right now. Around 50th celebration you can find the Disney value resorts going for $250 to $300. You can get a nicer room at ...

Re: Question about current security screening
The new security scanners are NOT metal detectors. They use Millimeter Wave (high frequency radio) technology and Artificial Intelligence software to detect both metal and non-metal weapons. The technology is made by Evolv and the scanners are called Evolv Express. My company uses the same scanners...

Re: Disney Genie App
The first thing to point out is that they say this is not a mandatory charge but to be honest it really is. Any introduction of a fastpass system means you will buy it or you won't be getting your money's worth. The introduction of line skipping of any kind means the stand by queues will be absolute...

Re: Question about current security screening
Basically anything that's metal can set them off. The only major change is the process. For example umbrellas set them off so they tell you to have your umbrella out and to hold it out straight in front of you as you pass. You can hear it set off the alarm still but they will let you go forward. Key...

Re: DISNEY ENDS MASKS FOR VACCINATED. Kids required.
It's kind of weird right now. You can take off the mask outside, on rides and preshows and even restaurants. However you still need to wear the mask on the bus and sky liner. Huh? What for? If the can crowd us in to the Tower of Terror pre show without a mask then what good does it do us wearing it ...

Re: Fast Pass, Fireworks and Parking Trams
$100-$300 a day for fast past that’s ridiculous almost as much or more as a tickets itself It’s actually on par with a lot of other parks. I’ve paid over $200 for Six Flags version of fast pass before. Not saying it justifies Disney starting to charge for it, just saying the prices aren’t unusual. ...

Chapek using covid. Anything that resembled free will go away or will have a cost added to it. I am getting the feeling that Chapek is going to go down as one of the Disney CEOs that we hate. That's outrageous. $100 dollars per guest per day for something that was free a year and a half ago. They really starting to price themselves out of the market. The cost of entrance is already too high.

Any chance of reopening the other resorts soon?
I am planning my fall and winter trips to WDW and I am noticing that it's really hard to book a room for after September. Almost impossible for less than $400 per night. All Star resorts, Pop are almost completely booked. I found a couple weeks in there that Pop is open but at over $225 per night an...
