Re: Trip Report 9-14 Jan 2022

I read the Disney Food Blog posting about all the price increases. It was apparent...but that was probably because I wasn't paying close attention to the prices...they are what they are. I was shocked when the Mint Julep near the Smokehouse BBQ (American Pavilion) came in around $19! One of the keys...

Re: Trip Report 9-14 Jan 2022

Hi, Emmy! Yes...the monorail was having some 'moments' during our visit...no real explanations from cast members...just the old 'technical difficulties'. When we stay at Bay Lake Towers I like to watch the monorail-dance of getting them off the express and resort lines and on their way to the mainte...

Trip Report 9-14 Jan 2022

Hi fellow Disney Enthusiasts! We are just back from a 6 day (5 park day) visit to WDW and thought I would offer some insights. Background: DVC since 2008. Visited almost every year since. Last visit was during the pandemic...last year. Normally stay at Bay Lakes Tower...this year, was able to get in...

Genie+ ****?

Genie+ From Afar We are scheduled to visit WDW in January (22) and are watching, with great interest, how the roll-out of Genie + is going. Looking at today's Tip Board...at around 10:15AM EST, I am very surprised (but perhaps should not be) that the vast majority of pickup times for food at most ve...

Re: Enchantment - what was that?

I must say that I, too, was disappointed...with both the MK and the EPCOT performances. It seems to me that Disney violated one of its most important practices....they didn't write the story before they story-boarded it with images and then added musical performances. The monologues at the beginning...

But now...having opined on that...it appears that Disney has just made an announcement for Disneyland Paris...that pundits are saying is going to be coming to WDW... In short... Fastpass+ is/was multi-dimensional... One...increase enjoyment by lowering wait times for users. Two...have it available for everyone (no charge) so that it was equal opportunity (everyone feels they are being treated fairly) Three...have the system inform customers so they can be part of the proces...

Idea for New Forums

To the Team....what would you think about setting up a section of the forum for members to discuss Disney Films/Movies?

You could have a separate Topic for each film...

Just a thought! :-)

Re: How Often Do You Travel To Disney?

Hi, Kriss! We are encouraged to have a Disney "experience" each year...as DVC members. We have home resorts in Florida and California...and normally will do the California visit about every 3 years. We have squeezed in three sailings on Disney Cruise Lines. Our Florida visits, largely due ...

The inaugural cruises for The Wish are available at the Disney Cruise Line website. The DVC Member Cruise is already sold out...in one day. The first voyage...a 5-Day cruise, is currently taking reservations based on your status as a Castaway Member... It's important to read the fine-print. A Deluxe...

Re: New Disney Railway That Is Replacing Magical Express

There are some things with this Service that remain to be seen...but here are some things to consider. First, consider where it is coming from and whether a family would want to park their car, lug all their suitcases onto the train...(assuming they will allow baggage)...and then emerging, with all ...

Well...here is one. There is a cement shrine in the Japanese pavilion area. So why is it there? What's the story? https://i.postimg.cc/nr59CnrZ/Epcot-Lamppost-28.jpg One of the best sources for these kinds of stories is Disney historian, Jim Korkis. Check out this link at AllEars.net to find out abo...

Hi, Maher Family...you have to slow down and really think about this question...so thanks for asking it. Some things that come to mind are the windows on Main Street...the Disney Legends listed there and the stories behind the names.... ...but in thinking about it, I think it is finding the quiet mo...

Re: Breaking News!!! Disneyland is Expanding!!!

As suggested earlier...the audience for this is the City of Anaheim who stuck a pin in recent Disney plans to add another hotel... So this is more of a "Let's Talk, Anaheim" announcement than anything else. But...it's nice to dream... :D

I thought I would start a topic (or two) just to get folks' creative juices flowing! So....whether it is an attraction, a policy, a food item, something in a resort...whatever comes to mind....if you could change one (1) thing at WDW, what would it be!? Re: My “What if Disney” idea

So my "What if Disney..." is related to the live, Broadway versions of their stories (Aladdin, Lion King, Mary Poppins, etc.)... First is the easier version....have a Big Theater at Disney Springs that would offer a rotating (changes each year?) version of the shows.... Second....and this ...
