Re: Seeking Air BnB (or other non-hotel) for 2 Guests Only

Blue Heron Resort is very convenient and has great prices for view, location, and size. I've booked here twice and love it. You can be at Disney Springs in minutes and Universal in less than 15. Re: Where would you stay on a solo trip?

Caribbean Beach Resort is a good solo stay. Coronado is not bad if you want quiet. I am wanting to try Port Orleans solo or with a group next.

Also, staying offsite is not bad either. I've rented some nice AirBnbs on solo trips and saved a ton of money.

How Would You Change Islands of Adventure?

With Disney now pursuing Marvel themed attractions, IOA's super hero land is looking pretty dated. What would you do to change that area and bring life back into it? The Comic Book area can be revitalized as well, but how? Seuss Landing as well may need to change eventually someday. What are you thi...

Re: Fast Pass, Fireworks and Parking Trams

Yeah. I am not liking where all this is heading. Just because people didn't go on vacation over the last year does not mean they saved all that money. A lot was investing in groceries, new computers and other technology. We are limiting more those who have never been able to experience Disney theme ...

Re: Best backpacks

I have a Swiss Gear pack pack that's really idea. It's actually designed to be an over night suit case back pack. Really small. Smaller than your typical backpack but designed to act like a suit case. You can unzip it in the middle and it opens up like a suit case will. Perfect for storing ponchos ...

Re: Tell about staying off site

We stayed at an AirBnB right at Margaritaville Resort. It was an apartment complex that started off as an AirBnB resort, but seems like COVID may have made it become a 50/50 apartment and rental complex. It was really nice and affordable. You could walk to Margaritaville and to the shopping center. ...

Re: When would you go for the 50th

I think we are going to try a trip in December. More for the Christmas ambiance and less about a ton of rides. I'll be definitely asking for suggestions as we get closer. I will go at least two more times during the 50th for sure. TRON is on the top of my list. I love the movies so much and cannot w...

Re: My β€œWhat if Disney” idea

So my "What if Disney..." is related to the live, Broadway versions of their stories (Aladdin, Lion King, Mary Poppins, etc.)... First is the easier version....have a Big Theater at Disney Springs that would offer a rotating (changes each year?) version of the shows.... Second....and this...

Re: Breaking News: Masks can be removed for outdoor photos starting April 8th, 2021!

I think it is a good move. I really felt safe when I was there in Feb and social distancing was not an issue. When people were taking photos there were large gaps between people. I feel like this is a great first step to returning to some pre-COVID normalcy. We did the PhotoPass and it was still goo...

Re: Is it weird to go to DW alone as an adult?

Anyone thought of sharing cost on a solo trip? I am really looking into going the end of May beginning of June 2021 and would love to share hotel costs. Or would that be just weird? A part of this community is to grow connections so that maybe meetups can happen! Invest in the relationships here an...

Re: Is it weird to go to DW alone as an adult?

I've done a few solo trips and it is much more relaxing for me because I can pace myself and not worry about other people's experience. Going solo helps me to discover more so that when I do family trips it is easier for me to know what to do and not to do. Epcot was fun solo because I got to explor...

Re: Pecos Bills

I was there last week and while it does offer a ton of seating and space, there are a few normal perks missing. Like the toppings bar. I don't think that was fully up and running. But, for a quick bite to eat with normal tex-mex taste it is not a bad option.
